Shift Supervisor- Second Shift
Position Description:
We are seeking a Second Shift Supervisor for our Cleveland East plant. Responsible for planning and supervising the work of employees engaged in the manufacture and assembly of a product. Cleveland East supervision includes Shipping and Maintenance responsibility.
Hours would be 2pm- 10:30pm with occasional overtime.
Responsibilities:
· Review production schedules and assign work in accordance with production schedules or other management objectives creates daily production schedule
· Monitor assigned areas for safety hazards and maintain good plant housekeeping
· Responsible for the adherence to applicable procedures for the products produced by assigned employees
· Train machine operators in standard operating procedures
· Ensure the accuracy of all transaction reporting: labor, production and inventory
· Coordinate and maintain manufacturing control systems at the plant including production reporting and inventory records
· Supervise union work
· Check scheduling to optimize the flow and production, to keep all areas productive
· Responsible for effective communication with assigned employees. Conduct regular informational meetings
· Understand union contract and advise Plant Manager and Ops Mgr of any issues arising outside of contract
· Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process or quality system within their area of responsibility
· Responsible for the completion of all actions required by corrective or preventative action within their area of responsibility
· Administer discipline when required per the contract
· Process Grievances when required per the contract
· Provide content for and Conduct daily Toolbox safety meetings
· Administer and update the Ultipro timeclock system
· Ensure direct reports complete assigned regulatory LMS training
· Investigate any EHS&S incidents and report/document as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required, degree highly preferred
· 5 years in supervisory experience
· Experience in manufacturing environment a plus
· Familiarity with ADP and timecard processing a plus
· SAP experience a plus
· Attention to detail, with a safety conscious attitude
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong employee relations and problem-solving skills
· Experience with working in a union environment

Maintenance Supervisor
Purpose of Position
Responsible for supervising the maintenance personnel and activities including the installation, care and repair of machinery.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee all maintenance functions for plant and equipment for Cleveland West.Facilitate Maintenance activities within the existing CMM System including:Maintain and improve facility preventive maintenance programsAssign and Schedule the repair of equipment.Maintain records of critical repair parts and maintenance supplies.Maintain records of machine rebuild parts, supplies, and equipment.Requisition equipment and interface with maintenance suppliersResponsible for effective communication with assigned employees and management. Conduct regular informational meetings.Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process or quality system within their area of responsibility.Responsible for the completion of all actions required by corrective or preventive action within their area of responsibility.Participates in continuous improvement efforts in the areas of safety, quality, environmental, health, safety, security, and productivity.Other duties as assigned.Education required
