    Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning Serve as a thought partner to the Head of Development in shaping and refining AAJC's fundraising strategy, including planning and execution of the American Courage Awards.Develop and implement fundraising strategies with a high degree of independence, bringing ideas to execution with minimal oversight.Collaborate with the executive team, staff, and board to inform budget development, program priorities, and innovative approaches that advance AAJC's mission and strategic plan.Cultivate and steward relationships with funders and partners, representing AAJC externally with fluency and confidence across the full range of donor engagement activities.Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships, serving as a bridge between Development and program staff to align funding strategies with organizational priorities. Support the identification and cultivation of new funding opportunities in partnership with program leaders, and contribute to portfolio management in collaboration with the Head of Development.Funder Engagement and Portfolio Management  In collaboration with the Head of Development, build and execute a comprehensive donor engagement strategy across foundation, corporate, and individual giving, inclusive of financial targets and performance metrics.Cultivate, manage, and grow a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, with a focus on expanding the pipeline for new and increased giving.Work with the President and Executive Director, Head of Development, Board of Directors, and effective team support.              In collaboration with the Head of Development, identify organizational income goals through statistical analysis of donor data, and build and run queries, exports, and analysis reports to create targeted appeal lists to support fundraising strategy and decision-making.Support the preparation of monthly and periodic fundraising reports, income projections, and donor pipeline analysis.Collaborate with Finance and Operations on donor revenue accounting, budgeting, and reconciliation. Coordinate online fundraising campaigns in partnership with the     Position Summary: The Paralegal, a member of the Litigation team, will be responsible for providing research, administrative, and logistical support to the team as it identifies, develops and litigates impact cases advancing the civil and human rights of Asian Americans. AAJCs docket includes, but is not limited to, civil rights cases focusing on immigration/immigrant rights (including family reunification), voting rights, and educational equity (Higher Education and K-12). As part of the litigation team, the Paralegal will collaborate with members of programmatic and operational teams at AAJC to advance the organizations mission through litigation.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Responsibilities
    Assist attorneys with conducting legal and factual research in support of active or potential cases, including but not limited to tracking legislation, monitoring activity in the Federal Register and the Congressional Record.Provide general logistical and administrative support to attorneys, including, but not limited to, facilitating production of court filings, processing invoices, tracking time and expenses/case costs, drafting correspondence, and handling travel arrangements.Maintain and create case files, department databases, and other organizational systems.Cite-check, bluebook, proofread, format litigation documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable court rules.Prepare for production legal advocacy materials, including administrative comments, substantive advocacy letters, and white papers.Coordinate logistics and assist with filings, depositions, service of process, courtesy copy delivery, and other litigation support.Collaborate with attorneys to maintain accurate litigation calendars that reflect up-to-date deadlines and appearance dates.Communicate, and coordinate scheduling, with potential clients, community partners, pro bono counsel, coalitional partners, and AAJCs affiliate partners, and others.     Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree.At least four years of paralegal or litigation support experience (e.g., legal assistant).Experience with and working knowledge of civil litigation and federal court system.Experience working with diverse groups from various sectors, including individuals with limited English proficiency, community-based organizations, national policy organizations, and government.Experience navigating the litigation process with limited resources and capacity.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    Position Description: The Digital Engagement Associate will help advance the priorities and programs of AAJC through a demonstrated passion and ability to convey stories through social media, graphics, and digital and audio-visual communications. The Associate must think strategically, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to various advocacy initiatives. The Digital Engagement Associate will help craft compelling narratives, drive engagement across multiple platforms, and support the organizations strategic communication goals.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning
    Act as a thought partner to the Assistant Director to support and implement programmatic plans and ideas that align with AAJCs mission, strategic plan, and policy goals.With the VP of Strategic Communications and External Engagement and Assistant Director, coordinate with local partner grantees, affiliate organizations, and coalition partners on program and policy initiatives.Work closely with policy leads and staff to set communications strategies, goals, and solutions.Follow organizational processes and procedures.Lead cross-organizational initiatives in partnership with internal departments.Direct Communications Responsibilities
    Deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.Create compelling visual digital media, simplifying complex topics into digestible communications productsincluding fact sheets, newsletters, emails, presentations, and social media content such as motion graphics, infographics, and data visualizations.Generate social media and digital platform strategies aligned with AAJCs strategic goals and draft, post, and monitor content on those platforms.Edit, produce, and maintain the AAJC website.Oversee blog process, with cross-team collaboration to ensure content accuracy and quality, and write, edit, and develop content.Develop key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance outreach efforts.Conduct social listening through AAJCs digital platforms to inform and shape messaging and responses.Understand and connect media relations, storytelling, messaging strategy, social engagement, and emerging technologies to create cohesive communications.Demonstrate strong video production skills, including independently managing the full process from storyboarding and shooting to editing and publishing.Manage an editorial content calendar covering media relations and social media needs.Apply effective project management skills for successful cross-collaboration with staff.Other duties as assigned.Fundraising
