Position Summary
The Painter will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of materials, including acrylics, PVC, wood, and aluminum. This role requires experience with paint sprayers and a strong eye for detail to ensure all products meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and set up materials (acrylics, PVC, wood, aluminum) for paintingUse HVLP gravity-fed paint sprayers and acrylic polyurethane paints in a cross-draft boothSand and clean materials before painting when requiredMaintain cleanliness of the paint booth and surrounding work areasClean, maintain, and store all painting tools and equipment properlyMonitor and order paint supplies as neededFollow company safety protocols and quality control proceduresRequirements
Painting experience is required (industrial, automotive, or furniture finishing preferred)Proficient in using HVLP sprayers, sanders, drills, and other basic toolsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspaceBenefits

Job Description:
Installation of all types of interior and exterior signs: plaques, dimensional letters and logos, post and panels, electrical signs, large and small vinyl graphics and digital prints.Must be extremely professional and courteous to clients and present the company in a professional manner.Must maintain a high level of quality and craftsmanship and stay on schedule.Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.Work will involve travel, some overnights, weekends and after hours installs.Miscellaneous other duties as required.
Technical Skills:
Use of mechanical and electrical hand tools.Blueprint reading.Understand general construction concepts and practices.Ability to work at heights, on ladders and in man lifts.Knowledge of protective gear (PPE) use.Capable of heavy lifting and post hole diggingGood communication skills.Ability to measure to the 64th and good math skillsMUST be able to interface with customers and clientsMust be able to work independently and in teamsPossess a valid drivers’ license, a good DMV record and proof of insuranceMaintain and complete written reports as requiredExperience with sign manufacturing and construction a plus, but not requiredWelding steel or aluminum a plus but not requiredSafety certifications a plus but not requiredCDL Drivers License a plus but not required
