What You’ll Tackle Find and fix complex faults across conveyors, CNCs, robotics, automated machinery, and material handling systems.Use electrical schematics, PLC logic, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools to pinpoint root causes and implement lasting fixes.Execute scheduled preventive maintenance: inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace components to protect uptime.Work confidently on 120–480V systems, including motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels.Service mechanical assemblies—hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and power transmission components.Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, and engage with building automation systems when needed.Respond rapidly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and return equipment to service safely.Record work with precision in our CMMS, maintaining accurate histories and documentation.Champion safety: follow LOTO, OSHA standards, and company procedures every single time.Partner with production to plan work during downtimes and communicate status clearly to leaders. Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and air distribution systems according to specifications and building codes

Execute preventive maintenance program plant-wide including scheduled inspections, filter changes, lubrication, refrigerant level checks, coil cleaning, and system performance monitoring
Maintainaccuratemaintenance records in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ensure all systemsoperatewithin manufacturer specifications
Troubleshoot electrical components including motors, contactors, relays, and power distribution systems (120V-480V) using electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Work with building automation systems (BAS) and digital controls, including installation and programming of thermostats, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control panels
Service refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers, freezers, process cooling) whilemaintainingEPA compliance for refrigerant handling, recovery, and recycling procedures
Assess equipment condition and provide recommendations for repairs, replacements, and energy efficiency improvements; order parts andmaintaininventory
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance following OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, EPA Section 608 refrigerant regulations, and proper use of PPE
Read and interpret technical documentation including electrical schematics, control sequences, and equipment specifications to diagnose issues and complete installations
Qualifications
Required:
Freon/Refrigerant License Required (EPA Section 608 Universal certification)
3-5 years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial settings
Strong electro-mechanical skills with proven troubleshooting ability
Ability toproperly usehand tools and test equipment in a safe manner
Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, control systems, and electrical equipment
Ability todeterminecause of electrical failures in HVAC systems
Valid driver's licenserequired
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
3-5 years of industrial electrical experience
State HVAC contractor license or journeyman certification
Experience with building automation systems (BAS) such as Trane, Carrier, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell
Boiler operator license

You will be completing minor furniture repairs on all types of product damage, including handling or damage that may occur with furniturepurchasedin customers’ homes.
