Strategic Financial Management

The Opportunity
Serve as senior financial leader ensuring all transactions comply with GAAP while maintaining integrity of company financial statements and internal controls. Assist the Assistant Controller oversee support of Financial Planning & Analysis and Transactional Accounting departments.

What You'll Lead
Strategic Financial Management
Support general ledger maintenance in accordance with GAAP standardsSupport consolidation of related companies and combination reporting.Develop comprehensive financial reports for management, creditors, and stakeholdersSupport annual budget preparation and financial forecasts enterprise-wideMonitor and oversee posting of cash transaction flowsFacilitate development of new financial and accounting systems and data visualization.Assist with independent audits across company entitiesDirect preparation of regulatory reports and ensure complianceWork with offshore teams supporting global finance functionsSupport Ashley finance transformation projectsDepartmental Oversight
Provide leadership and strategic direction for 6-8 finance professionals across:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Transactional Accounting functionsTeam Leadership & Development
Assist the Assistant Controller with the development of a team of 6-8 finance professionalsSupport employment decisions including hiring, promotions, and performance managementCoach team through performance reviews and development planningBuild succession plans and develop future finance leadersFoster culture of continuous improvement and financial excellenceProcess Improvement & Innovation

Process payrolls: process employee miscellaneous deductions, receive hours/wage data via AS400 and Excel, audit driver trip packets, import data into HRIS, make adjustments (data entry) as necessary, run reports, verify reports, print checks and sort checks.Work closely with offsite payroll departments and other internal departments and/or supervisors to coordinate the completion of weekly payrolls.Prepare payroll reports.Perform audit of select information entered by the Human Resource Department, other clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, review of scanned documents and handle payroll related calls and inquiries.Answer questions from supervisors and employees regarding pay.What Do You Need?
