    Payroll Specialist

    What Will You Do?

    The Payroll Specialist will process weekly hourly payrolls for all Ashley Companies and prepare related reports.

    Process payrolls: process employee miscellaneous deductions, receive hours/wage data via AS400 and Excel, audit driver trip packets, import data into HRIS, make adjustments (data entry) as necessary, run reports, verify reports, print checks and sort checks.Work closely with offsite payroll departments and other internal departments and/or supervisors to coordinate the completion of weekly payrolls.Prepare payroll reports.Perform audit of select information entered by the Human Resource Department, other clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, review of scanned documents and handle payroll related calls and inquiries.Answer questions from supervisors and employees regarding pay.

    What Do You Need?

    Associate Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience, required.6 months of hands-on payroll experience or general office experience, required.Experiencewith computerized payrollsystems anddocument management systems desired.

    Overview:

    The Automation Supervisor provides operational and systemic support to the manufacturing and automation teams. This position work directly with the operation to troubleshoot problems or issues that arise, identify enhancements for the systems or processes that automated machinery is performing, and apply continuous improvement philosophy to improve the overall workflow efficiency and standardization. This position is responsible to manage the Automation Specialists in each location

    What Will You Do?

    Work with management and automation systems to ensure operation of autonomous machinery is meeting the business need.Physically interact with automation machinery to ensure proper operation.Troubleshoot systemic and operational issues arising from change order adjustments or enhancements; determine the root cause of the issue and/or work with IT as necessary to resolve.Collaborate with the distribution and fulfillment center management to determine key performance indicators for automated processes.Collaborate with operations management and end users to assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and safety, as well as reduce cost and waste, in all operational processes.Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs); notify appropriate personnel and assist with training as necessary.Work collaboratively with the distribution center training personnel to ensure all training materials are created, updated, and rolled out to appropriate locations. Follow the established audit system to validate the training has been completed.Gather and analyze data from the system to define issues or needed enhancements and work collaboratively to develop recommendations for solutions and/or improvements.Work directly with internal and external systems testing resource(s) to validate all new code. Ensure positive outcome of testing or make recommendations to appropriate personnel to modify new code for successful launch.Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system enhancements meet the objectives; log errors and/or defects and provide feedback as appropriate.Make employment decisions and/or recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.Coordinate and manage the work of employees by directing members of the team to meet the areas goals. Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to.Manage employee performance and assist employees in making improvements to their performance through coaching, mentoring and administering performance reviews. Recommend, plan and/or implement employee training and skill development activities.Audit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate.Communicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities.Manage resources to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods and materials.Demonstrate the Companys Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.

    Education and/or Qualifications:

    Overview:

    The CNC Machinist will need to be knowledgeable in programming and importing 3D models into software for the lathes and mills to create high quality specialty parts that will take our Automation Robotic Designs to the next level. This person needs to be highly skilled in working under great concentration and have a keen eye for precision pieces. All the while complying with safety compliance and accurately performing a variety of tasks and functions.

    Pay: $23-$26/hr plus applicable shift differential ($1.00 for night shift)

    What Will You Do?

    Prepare and operation a 3-axis CNC mill, water jet and turning centers.Import 3D models into programming software.Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting vises, chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers and indicating vises.Generate a G-Code file from programming software and download to the CNC machine.Prepare and load raw materials and parts safely into the desired CNC machine.Stay current with engineering concepts, participate in training on new releases of software manufacturing techniques and quality concepts; train other individuals and departments as needed.Inspect and measure all parts that are being created on the CNC machines for the desired result. Check and maintain CNC machinery daily to ensure functionality, including preventive maintenance and proper housekeeping.Enter all CNC machine drawings, bills of material into machine manuals with the correct labeling as well as backed up in the correct locations on the network.Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraintsAssist with training other employees.Participate in team meetings and activities.Attend all scheduled training sessions.Maintain reliable attendance.Work as a member of a team.Demonstrate the Companys Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions

    Prepare and operation a 3-axis CNC mill, water jet and turning centers.Import 3D models into programming software.Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting vises, chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers and indicating vises.Generate a G-Code file from programming software and download to the CNC machine.Prepare and load raw materials and parts safely into the desired CNC machine.Stay current with engineering concepts, participate in training on new releases of software manufacturing techniques and quality concepts; train other individuals and departments as needed.Inspect and measure all parts that are being created on the CNC machines for the desired result. Check and maintain CNC machinery daily to ensure functionality, including preventive maintenance and proper housekeeping.Enter all CNC machine drawings, bills of material into machine manuals with the correct labeling as well as backed up in the correct locations on the network.Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraintsAssist with training other employees.Participate in team meetings and activities.Attend all scheduled training sessions.Maintain reliable attendance.Work as a member of a team.Demonstrate the Companys Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions

    Education and/or Qualifications:

    Payroll Specialist

    What Will You Do?

    The Payroll Specialist will process weekly hourly payrolls for all Ashley Companies and prepare related reports.

    Process payrolls: process employee miscellaneous deductions, receive hours/wage data via AS400 and Excel, audit driver trip packets, import data into HRIS, make adjustments (data entry) as necessary, run reports, verify reports, print checks and sort checks.Work closely with offsite payroll departments and other internal departments and/or supervisors to coordinate the completion of weekly payrolls.Prepare payroll reports.Perform audit of select information entered by the Human Resource Department, other clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, review of scanned documents and handle payroll related calls and inquiries.Answer questions from supervisors and employees regarding pay.

    What Do You Need?

    Associate Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience, required.6 months of hands-on payroll experience or general office experience, required.Experiencewith computerized payrollsystems anddocument management systems desired.
