We're hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Associates at a senior living community in Ashburn where dining is about more than food-it's about care, consistency, and connection.
This is not restaurant chaos. It's a structured, team based role serving the same residents each day in a calm, supportive environment.
Responsible for the overall efficiency of the dining room and pantry; assists with preparation, stocking, serving and post meal clean up of meals and snacks to ensure adequate nutritional intake for all residents. You'll ensure the dining room and pantry run smoothly, supporting our goal of providing a great dining experience.
What we offer
Compensation: up to $18.00 an hour, commensurate with experience plus $300 sign on bonus! Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant Ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant by coordinating with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficiently Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-up Ensure all residents receive adequate nutritional intake Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen Assist in training the wait staffWhat you will need
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment is preferred, but will train if no experience Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds Flexible with schedule, available to work some weekends and holidaysPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable. Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE)What you will need
Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferredAbility to follow written instructions and schedules Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 poundsAbility to work weekends and holidaysPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
