This 378-bed tertiary teaching facility boasts a Level II maternity care unit and a state-of-the-art surgical environment, including two DaVinci Surgical Systems within its inpatient OR and a convenient outpatient surgery center. The Family BirthPlace offers 13 home-like maternity suites designed for labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum care.
The medical center has a strong academic affiliation with Michigan State University (MSU) College of Human Medicine, providing a teaching component through its Family Medicine Residency program and various medical and surgical residency/fellowship programs (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Clinical Health Psychology, and Vascular Surgery).
