Production Control/Planner
Department/ Area: Production control
Position Summary:
Reviews daily production reports to identify and correct errors. Summarizes and reports a variety of productivity data. Maintains historical productivity information and reports. Calculates a variety of performance indices. Meets with individual operators to review and correct daily labor reporting and to determine causes for low productivity. Performs time studies to determine accuracy of current standards. Analyzes historical data and makes recommendations for changes to standards.
Daily tasks:
Downloads and reviews daily production reports. Given set criterion flags all instances of abnormal performance. Meets with individuals involved to determine if data is correct, correcting, as necessary. Creates daily/weekly/monthly summaries of performance and reviews with management. Analyses performance data to determine patterns or trends and to measure effectiveness of improvement program. Performs routine analysis of the accuracy of setup and run standards. Visits the process to perform time study and summarizes. Analyzes historical data to determine if standard in question requires adjustment. Upon approval changes standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Advanced user in Excel and Access for the preparation of reports. Experience in performing statistical analysis of data to determine patterns, trends etc. Good data summarization and presentation skills. Strong communication skills to all levels of the organization. Bi-lingual Spanish – English is a plus. Associated degree with math or engineering background.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Production Control Manager
Working Conditions: Office/Computer workstation and manufacturing floor review work.
Position Type: Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.

I. Summary
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, a HR/Payroll Specialist accurately provides oversight and administration for multiple company entities of time and attendance, and payroll systems, in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-faceted, motivated team environment. Responsible for the delivery of accurate payroll and all supporting functions.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
· Payroll administration of electronic, biweekly exempt, and non-exempt payrolls.
· Create and evaluate document workflow and work procedures.
· Prepare, maintain, and present electronic payroll records and reports – working closely with Finance Department and others.
· Oversight of all manual check processing and procedures.
· Administration of the automated time system, including:
o Onboarding
o Set-up
o Auditing
o Training of employees and supervisors
o Accurately producing reports and presenting them to management.
· Manage and process garnishments/levies, leaves of absences and employment verifications.
· Compile statistical and payroll data to ensure compliance within established federal, state, local or company guidelines.
· Research and resolve payroll issues and perform scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly, activities.
· Conduct appropriate review of data to ensure integrity, including but not limited to 401(k) deferral elections, loans.
· Support annual worker’s compensation, 401(k), and general audits, as appropriate.
· Process accurate and timely year end reporting to include W-2’s,1095-C’s among others.
· Manage the taxation of employer-paid benefits.
· Work on projects on an as needed basis.
· Ability to work well with and in a group setting.
· Great communication skills.
· Displays great work ethic and discretion regarding confidential matters.
· Provide positive and continued support to employees, members of management and external agencies on a regular basis.
III. Qualifications / Requirements
· Associates Degree or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, Payroll Administration, or similar field is preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of Payroll experience in a high volume fast paced environment.
· Working knowledge and experience using current Paycom processing, ability to become proficient within 3 months of employment.
· Experience interfacing and assisting Human Resources Department.
· Proficient in Excel.
IV. Salary Range
· Hourly/Salary compensation $60,000 - $100,000K
· Dependent on education and experience.

Tool & Die Maker

Department/ Area: Tool & Die Maker
Position Summary: Candidates are required to set up and operate major machining equipment including drills, conventional mill, conventional lathe, and surface grinder. Ability to run an OD grinder, honing machine and CNC is a plus. Candidates are required to interpret blueprints/drawings; verify and accurately report on quality and quantity of work performed; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Daily tasks: Interpret blueprints/drawings to create tooling. Set up and operate major machining equipment.
Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Basic English reading and math skills. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Familiarity with the material carbide and Mastercam is a plus. EDM knowledge is also a plus.
Reporting Relationships: Will report to the Tooling Supervisor and/or the Plant Manager.
Working Conditions: Standing most of the time. Carry parts that usually weigh less than 20 lbs., but may be up to 40 lbs.
Success Factors: The candidate should have a good attitude and be willing to learn. Good communications skills a plus

Nut Former Operator
Department: Machine Shop
Position Summary: Operates automatic nut formers that have 5 forming dies and are equipped with automatic feeding mechanisms to precisely sheared to length and progressively form metal wire into dies and special nut products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates nut forming machines.Moves control to cycle machine through settings, stopping the machine and adjusting to positions and machine controls to allow for operating factors such as timing and the clearance between moving parts.Positions and secures heading wire onto stock feeding mechanism.Adjust specific tooling and transfer fingers at each station.Start machine, observes the operation and inspects first run and sample workpiece to ensure machine conforms to specifications.Inspects parts using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools, to ensure compliance with specification.Reads blueprint or job order for product specification such as dimensions, tolerance, number or parts to be formed and tooling instruction on type tooling required.Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping and following safety regulations.Suggest process improvement ideas.Use the 3 pan system through your production run.Evaluate and communicate machine condition or concerns to both maintenance and supervision.Education and/or Experience:
Working experience in a fastener manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of nut forming machinery and procedures.Ability to inspect parts with variety of inspections instruments. Knowledge in the use of SPC.A minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.Mathematical skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, angles, radius, ratios and standard units of measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
