Art Therapy & Creative Counseling LLC is seeking full-time licensed Art Therapist (LPC, LCSW, and/or ATR) to join our newly renovated Essex office. As a diverse group psychotherapy practice, we support clinicians' passions and creativity while promoting flexible work-life balance and a thriving caseload. This position primarily serves children, adolescents, and mixed-age groups through individual and expressive arts therapy modalities in an independent clinician role, with some team collaboration.
Responsibilities
Provide individual art therapy and expressive arts therapy sessionsConduct client counseling with children, adolescents, and adultsManage cases effectively and coordinate care with providersMaintain timely and accurate documentation following CT laws and ethical codesParticipate in weekly group supervision and bi-weekly individual supervisionCollaborate with the clinical team when requiredManage a caseload of 28-32 clients per week
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Mental Health or related fieldLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or ATR certificationConnecticut mental health license
Preferred Qualifications
