This is a special practice with a team who are dedicated to providing our clients and their pets with exceptional care. A variety of shifts including nights and weekends and holidays are required.
Summary: Your duties will include, but may not be limited to:
keeping accurate medical records, clerical work, client education, promotion of hospital products and services, and direct support of the hospital administrators and other team members. This requires a practical knowledge of Art City Vets procedures; policies and services; client and patient treatment protocols; data transcribing; word processing; and the standard procedures, records, and terminology used in the veterinary hospital.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Floor Supervisor include, but are not limited to the following activities:
-Maintaining and supporting a positive client experience.
-Providing support to all employees, including but not limited to training, assisting with employee reviews, interviews, etc.
-Being present on the floor in a management capacity to help the employees with any questions or issues as they arise.
-Ensuring that daily tasks are accomplished.
-Assisting Managers with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to checking all Slack channels and NaVetor to ensure nothing is overlooked, sending records back to patients’ rDVMs, various weekly audits, cash requisition, etc.
-Assisting with training (both classroom style and on-the-floor training).
-Evaluate the daily schedule to anticipate patient arrivals and efficiently plan tasks accordingly.
-Monitor schedule and keep clients informed of anticipated wait times.
-Help resolve client complaints when possible.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Client Service Representative include, but are not limited to the following activities:
-Maintaining and supporting a positive client experience.
- Follow established hospital policies and procedures when interacting with clients and co-workers.
- Greet clients and pets by name immediately upon them entering the building.
- Maintain the appointment schedule and strategically schedule appointments to optimize appointment flow for the hospital. Correct or inform your direct supervisor when any errors are found.
- Answer business and personal calls in a friendly and professional manner. Route calls to the proper team members and/or take detailed messages for management, doctors, and staff when they are unavailable.
- Check emails, internal communication channels, and voicemail throughout the day and address all requests with-in 24-48 hours; prioritizing requests that are time sensitive.
- Answer inquiries about services and/or products and provide knowledgeable advice concerning care and treatment of animals.
-Invoicing/Payments- Prepare invoices, collect and process payments. This will include making changes, processing credit card payments. Know the fees for routine services so that you can inform clients.
-Prepare and update all required hospital forms.
-Intake lab specimens clients bring in for laboratory analysis, label, and record in our operations platforms, and take to the appropriate lab holding location.
-Other various administrative tasks.

Position SummaryThe Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and technicians across Wellness and Urgent Care, ensuring efficient patient flow, compassionate care, and a clean, organized treatment environment. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, empathetic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a clinical veterinary setting.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
Assist with animal restraint during exams, procedures, treatments, and radiographs
Prepare cages and hospitalization areas for incoming patients
Assist with patient admission and discharge during drop-offs for procedures
Communicate patient updates and concerns to technicians and veterinarians
Assist with procedures and patient handling across all departments
Report inventory or supply needs to the appropriate team member
Assist with Inventory replenishment and organization
Cross-training in client service: answering phones, communicating with clients about updates, scheduling, and assisting with front desk coverage when needed
Assisting with triage questions from the technician or client service team when appropriate
Participating in ongoing hospital cleaning, organization, and staff meetings
Patient Care & Monitoring
Walk, clean, feed, and monitor hospitalized or post-procedure patients
Record food and water intake and U/BM/V/D on treatment sheets

Administer oral medications as directed
Laboratory & Pharmacy Support
Prepare laboratory samples and submit to external labs
Perform basic in-house tests (based on training level)
Fill prescriptions under technician or veterinarian supervision (Assistant Level II)
Hospital Cleanliness & Organization
Clean and reset exam and treatment areas between patients
Clean cages, instruments, floors, bathroom areas, and general hospital spaces
Maintain a clean, organized, clutter-free working environment
Sterilize instruments and maintain aseptic technique
Administrative Support
Enter patient notes and updates into the medical record (EzyVet experience a plus)
Attend regular department/hospital meetings
Check ACV email regularly to maintain communication with staff and management
Growth & Training
