    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are growing our team and looking for a motivated garage door service technician to join us. As a technician, you will be in charge of installing residential and commercial garage doors as well as training others to perform these tasks. Technicians will travel to numerous job sites, and every day will be different since our company provides both service and new installations and remodels. You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis across our service areas and must have excellent customer service skills. Our ideal candidate is good with power tools and knows the basics of how electrical wiring and connections work. If this sounds like a great opportunity, please apply today!Compensation:

    Responsibilities:Measure openings for installation and site checks for bigger jobsTake notes, create quotes, and make invoices using our softwarePerform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available optionsParticipate in corporate meetings, and observe all of the company's proceduresArrive at appointments within the window provided to the clientUtilize our software for notes, generating quotes, and invoicingBe punctual for all appointments and work hard to exceed customer expectationsTake part in all workplace functions, and follow all policies and proceduresPerform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available optionsCheck the location and measure openings for installation when working on larger jobs



    Qualifications:Competent in the use of both power tools and hand toolsA solid understanding of electrical circuitry and connectionsSkills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tapeYou must have excellent customer service skills for this positionEffective communication, listening, and teamwork skills are necessarySkills in communication, listening, and working well with others are a mustFor this role, you need to have outstanding skills in providing service to customersComfortable with using power and hand toolsSkills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tapeMust have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The primary responsibility of a garage door apprentice is to provide hands-on support to a lead technician while learning how to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial garage door systems. The role involves assisting with on-site service calls, handling physical tasks, and developing technical and customer service skills.


    This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

    Compensation:

    $18 - $22 hourly

    As our apprentice, you'll work alongside our experienced technicians, gaining hands-on knowledge in every aspect of the garage door industry. Your training will cover:

    Installing and repairing all types of residential and commercial garage doors and openers.Diagnosing common issues and learning how to provide effective solutions.Performing routine maintenance to ensure long-lasting performance.Providing excellent customer service and representing our company professionally.Safety procedures and industry best practices.
