Under the supervision and direction of the Special Education Team and ABA Managers, the Student 1:1 Aide assists a specific student, performing a variety of tasks related to the student's behavioral, adaptive, medical, and instructional needs in a classroom setting.
Duties:
Assists individual students with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts in accordance with the student's individualized education program (IEP).Works with individual students to reinforce learning of materials or skills as instructed by the teacher.Work as part of a classroom team to support academic instruction and implementation of behavior plans.Execute lessons as directed by the teacher or classroom lead. These may include supporting independent work, special projects, or teaching a lesson to a small group.Assists the student in participating in classroom routines, transitions, and self-care tasks as necessary. Self-care activities may be related to medical needs and include eating, dressing, toileting, and grooming.Implement tier one behavioral supports and behavior intervention techniques in alignment with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as directed by the ABA Manager or Campus Director.Accompanies and assists the student throughout the school day as necessitated by the IEP.Monitor and document daily relevant data associated with the students activities of daily living and any medical, behavioral, and/or academic data the team deems necessary.Obtain and maintain QBS certification.Strong adherence to policies as outlined in the AZACS Employee Handbook.Maintain professional conduct and appearance.Other duties as assigned by the Managers and Directors.Minimum Qualifications:

Duties:
Assess students to identify eligibility and IEP needs
Supervise, mentor, and support COTA; train COTAs and classroom staff to implement goals identified on student IEPs related to:
fine motor skills
life skills/training
psychosocial adaptations
sensory processing/adaptations
visual motor skills
Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions
Support the delivery of services in a classroom integration model
Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families
Responsible for paperwork compliance with data collections relating to IEP goals and Student Digital Portfolios
Maintain timely and accurate Medicaid Billing
Accountability for growth and proficiency in IEP goals
Participate in annual and ongoing staff training
Write OT goals and progress monitoring data for students' IEPs
Attend IEP/MET meetings for students with OT services

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience delivering services in a school setting in a classroom integration model is preferred
Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Minimum of two years OT experience in a school setting preferred
Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card

Bachelor's, Masters Degree or higher
Certified OTR in the state of Arizona

Under the supervision and direction of Campus and Charter Leadership, the School Psychologist will be responsible for creating and implementing a special education evaluation process aligned to IDEA and state guidelines. The school psychologist will support compliance, programming, interventions, and parent involvement.
Duties:
Administer cognitive, achievement, social/emotional, adaptive, autism spectrum, and other relevant assessments to students.Evaluate and interpret student data to make recommendations for appropriate services within the full range of regular and special education programs.Obtain signatures on Permission to Evaluate forms and communicate to staff in a timely manner when completedInterpret individual test findings and recommendations to parents of students who are being considered for placement in special education programs.Consult with teachers, administrators, and other professionals on specific diagnostic findings concerning students to maximize educational development through placement or educational management.Develop a school mentor program to support students' social-emotional developmentConsult with parents concerning students learning potentials, achievement levels, and personality adjustments, and recommend ways of helping the students and providing sources of further professional assistance.Prepare and submit special education data upon requestShare in the responsibility of reviewing incoming students records to ensure compliance.Attend IEP Meetings as the LEA representative as neededFollow timelines to complete paperwork in a timely mannerDevelop compliant evaluations and paperwork for each studentFollow the schools Child Find Process in compliance with ADEAssist in monitoring the accuracy of the schools special education census with the Campus Assistant Director.Keep informed of new developments in school psychology, educational practice, and special education law.Create and deliver professional development for all staff to supportPerform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
