Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryPick orders, pack and box orders and process labels for shipping. General AccountabilitiesInspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Inspect finished product for defects before packing and shipping.Inserts items into boxes, using pouches, fillers, and protective padding.Select and assemble appropriate container/box for shipping.Affix information and shipping instructions onto boxes or crates, as needed.Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage.Cleans booth and work area at end of each work day.Use safety equipment and practice safe work habits.Inspect equipment to locate defects and wear.Performs basic maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment in good working order. For example, grease fittings on racks, keep wheels clean and free from debris, change air filters and other tasks as assigned.Job description is not intended to cover every single requirement of the job.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Job QualificationsMinimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum Experience: None required SkillsQuality Control AnalysisProblem solvingCritical Thinking Physical Demands· Heavy lifting of 50-60# with or without assistance.· Requires standing/walking for majority of 8-hour shift.· Use of arms, hands, legs, manipulating parts, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting above shoulders.· Bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling required.· Must be able to visually see product.· Must be able to wear required PPE: steel-toe boots with meta-tarsals, safety glasses with side shields, and hearing protection.Able to withstand heat and cold. Working conditions like outdoors; environment is NOT climate controlled.Hours: 9a – 5p (30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
