Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Management & Policy Analyst to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support by managing correspondence, scheduling, travel coordination, records management, meeting support, and document preparation. The position also develops and maintains policies, procedures, reports, and briefing materials while serving as a trusted partner to leadership through strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings Providing internal guidance and coordination regarding administrative functions, management controls, metrics collection, standard operating procedures, and general administrative compliance Able to assess past, current, and/or future policy and develop supporting documentation such as SOPs, guidance, potential training how-to’s or briefings, and FAQs Facilitating the coordination, response, and monitoring of all document requests and correspondence for internal and external requests in accordance with applicable policies and procedures Coordinating and preparing travel arrangements, authorization, and vouchers on behalf of government staff through the organizational travel system Writing and editing memos, developing spreadsheets, filing, and copying documents Compiling correspondence, briefing materials, talking points, and reports for review/approval by government staff Reviewing and confirming meeting invitations include the correct title, purpose, agenda, documents, and appropriate list of attendees Taking meeting minutes/notes, providing executive summaries and action items for government approval, and distributing once approved Complying with administrative policies and task requirements, executive secretariat guidelines, formats, and procedures Draft responses to written requests Complying with the Plain Writing Act of 2010 for all applicable communications, and ensures all communication includes the appropriate tone and style for the intended audience Reviewing/analyzing accuracy of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity of writing for internal and external communication Conducting off-site meeting venue research as needed Planning and facilitating working sessions and other efforts as requested by government staff Organizing briefing materials and action items by preparing binders or as requested by government staff Managing records in accordance with the agency policy by reviewing, filing, scheduling and archiving documents Being detail-oriented and a flexible problem-solver who is comfortable managing complex tasks and prioritizing competing demands Multi-tasking and comfortably operating in a fast-paced environment, adapting in real time to new informationRequirements
BS and 5 (+) years of experience Able to juggle priorities across multiple executives Adaptable/flexible and able to pivot onto other activities to keep up with executive fast response requirements Strong writer with the ability to break down information and provide a synopsis for a broader audience but also with the ability to help support more detailed policy documents Strong basic consulting skills, able to act as a partner to senior managers or executives and provide support in helping craft responses, build PPT briefings, conduct basic analysis by organizing, synthesizing, and making sense of information or numerical data Strong background in Microsoft including Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word – additional bonus for working knowledge of Power BI and Visio Able to utilize SharePoint to manage information – an understanding of Knowledge Management principles that allow you to organize information in a manner that makes it accessible to user communities Strong pro-active work style – able to take minimal direction and be productive in advancing organizational initiatives where necessaryPreferred

Aretum is seeking a Air Space Manager within the Air Operations Center (AOC), supporting Combat Plans and Combat Operations through Airspace Control Order (ACO) production, MAAP planning, airspace management, and TBMCS system operations. Requires extensive AOC operational experience, knowledge of AOC processes and exercises, and the ability to support operational-level planning and role-play during exercises and real-world deployments.

Responsibilities
Ensure the timely and effective use of Air Tasking Order (ATO) assigned assets. Responsible for monitoring assets, and how assess deviations affect the ATO, and make necessary adjustments while coordinating with all affected agencies. Function as the Operational Expertise Act expert and go-to on doctrinal processes for all positions under the SODO, including CASDO, INTDO, BDO, CSAR, TST, and EW/SEAD. Provide expertise on capability degradation, tactics, and threat areas. Function as the Exercise Execution Replicate on one or multiple AOC positions as required during exercises. Tasked to perform the duties of the Chief of Combat Ops (CCO), coordinating with the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) to ensure training objectives are met. Function as the liaison and attend planning conferences as the AOC representative and may be tasked as a Liaison Officer (LNO) at forward exercise locations.Requirements
Active Secret Clearance.Associate's degree and 10 years years of experience.Support Air Operations Center (AOC) Combat Plans and Combat Operations functions with a focus on Airspace Control Order (ACO) planning and production. Develop, coordinate, compile, and publish Airspace Control Orders (ACOs), Airspace Control Plans (ACPs), and applicable Special Instructions (SPINS). Maintain accurate planning databases within Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) and ASMA-FP. Incorporate real-time changes into ACO products prior to publication and dissemination. Coordinate with Combat Operations personnel to ensure timely execution of airspace management activities. Apply current AOC processes, products, and TTPs to support planning and operational execution. Utilize TBMCS, ASMA-FP, FALCONVIEW, IWS, SharePoint, and Microsoft Windows-based systems to support mission planning. Support operational-level exercises, including Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) events, and participate in Master Events List (MSEL) development and execution. Role-play as an Airspace Control Order (ACO) Planner during operational exercises and simulations.Operational knowledge/experience as ACO planner to role play position during operational level exercises or real-world deployments in the last 5 years.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience as an exercise designer/planner/director.Experienced with AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience.Travel Requirements
This is an onsite position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be as much as 25% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
