This position will be expected to plan, design, and possibly manage multidiscipline projects consisting of water/wastewater treatment and collection/distribution systems for our clients. The individual should be capable of performing the technical design and/or hydraulic modeling requirements on water/wastewater projects and additional consideration will be given to those that have experience managing a team of engineers, EIT’s, CADD technicians, and sub consultants, to successfully execute these types of projects.
Primary Duties
Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water / wastewater storage and conveyance systems. More specific responsibilities include performing or managing engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projectsAbility to guide, direct, and coordinate with the multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projectsAbility to create, calibrate, modify and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems, and interpret and communicate the results to othersAssisting other Project Managers in the daily and weekly allocation of junior engineering and production staff on active projects, managing individual workloads based on project deliverables and prioritiesPreparing and/or reviewing technical engineering specifications and cost estimatesMeet directly with Clients and perform business development duties with potential clientsEducation and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college5 years of related experience in the water/wastewater design, permitting and constructionA Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies is criticalExcellent technical writing skills for use in the development of engineering reports and studiesHighly self-motivated, able to anticipate and initiate subsequent project tasks, working independently or with minimal instructionStrong organizational skills, and ability to function efficiently within a project team environmentBasic level of familiarity with AutoCAD software (2020 or later) preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of procedures of local permitting agencies required for the typical projects described above is preferred, but not requiredBasic knowledge in the output and capabilities of hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMs, and similar softwareWhy Ardurra?

Primary Function:
The Water Resources Stream Designer is responsible for designing stream restoration and stabilization projects that improve watershed health, restore natural hydrology, protect utilities, and support ecological balance. You'll work closely with engineers, ecologists, and planners to develop sustainable solutions for urban stream systems across a variety of landscapes. Under general mentorship and guidance, the role may also provide direction to junior engineers on various projects that focus on managing runoff, preventing flooding, and protecting water quality.
Primary Duties:
Design stream restoration, stabilization, and enhancement projects using geomorphic and ecological principles.Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS tools.Prepare construction documents including plan sets, grading plans, erosion/sediment control plans, and technical specifications.Conduct site evaluations and assist in environmental impact assessments.Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative watershed planning and stormwater management solutions.Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments.Participate in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and project presentations as neededEducation and Experience Requirements:
