Proven ability to effectively perform under pressure while problem solving
Certifications with aerial lifts and forklifts preferred

Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to provide necessary support to the Fabrication shop in the form of assembling metal structures by welding, cutting, and shaping material. You will be essential in providing support to the Fabrication shop from preparation to the completion of jobs, ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and detail.
Read and properly interpret blueprints, plans, and layouts.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment using appropriate methods based on material requirements.
Identify and correct design issues that may affect the quality or strength of the product.
Safely operate power hand tools and stationary equipment such as angle grinders, sanders, and miter saws.
Ensure all items are correctly identified, labeled, and staged for appropriate departments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of fabricated products to support production needs.
Keep the work area clean, maintain a safe work environment, and properly wear required PPE.
Adherence to Architectural Fabrication's safety policies and procedures are a requirement of employment and continued employment.
Professional Certification and OSHA 30 Certification required.
Ability to pass a welding certification and operate a forklift.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reading a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inch.

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products such as flashing, fascia, standing seam, soffit, gutters, and downspouts.
Perform work in both the shop environment and in the field at construction sites.
Utilize and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication and installation requirements.
Measure, mark dimensions, and layout material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares.
Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using specialized tools like shears, hammers, punches, and drills.
Fasten seams and joints together to assemble components into finished products or to repair existing items.
Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces to ensure safety and a seamless appearance.
Identify and correct design issues that may affect the quality or strength of the final product.
Maintain, diagnose, and repair sheet metal machines including Roll Formers, Folding Machines, and Sheers.
Develop plans to solve technical problems and provide input to management regarding team performance.
Aid in tracking all components of a job from start to finish to meet project deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to lead by example and treat others with dignity and professionalism.
Willingness to visit job sites for installation assistance and field measurements.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a sheet metal shop environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
OSHA 30 Certification required.
Proven experience in flat sheet layout and installation.
Strong math skills and the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and tools up to 50 lbs and comfort working at heights.
Valid Driver's License and experience maneuvering trailers preferred.
Knowledge of building codes relevant to sheet metal products.

Position SummaryThe Powder Coater I is responsible for the full cycle of the finishing process, from material preparation to final application. This role requires effective communication across teams to ensure proper color assignment and adherence to job documentation. You will utilize various painting techniques, including powder coating and wet paint spraying, while maintaining high quality standards and equipment functionality.
Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel regarding project preparation and color assignment.
Apply powder coatings skillfully to ensure successful project completion.
Inspect products for quality, recognize problem areas, and make necessary corrections.
Manage oven functions, including monitoring time, temperature, and alarms.
Maintain and clean coating equipment, including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
Perform routine maintenance on wash bay equipment and regularly change booth filters.
Prepare parts for coating using techniques such as sandblasting, cleaning, dipping, and masking.
Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to detect and prevent defects.
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a safe workspace.

Wrap, pad, and stack products correctly to prevent damage during transportation.

Position SummaryThe Industrial Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial production equipment, with secondary responsibility for facility and building upkeep. These tasks include industrial machine troubleshooting and repair, contractor coordination, spare parts inventory management, basic electrical repairs, and maintenance of forklifts, lighting, and sprinkler systems to ensure operational efficiency. An understanding of machine electrical components, including PLCs, electrical wiring, and various switches is required.
Primary Focus: Equipment & Machinery Maintenance
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on fabrication equipment and production lines to minimize downtime.
Lead a team of 2 employees
Maintain and repair forklifts, scissor lifts, and sky tracks.
Execute and enhance our preventative maintenance program.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and work area in compliance with 5S and OSHA safety standards.
Secondary Focus: Facility & Building Upkeep
Perform minor building repairs, such as basic carpentry, patch-and-paint, overhead door adjustments, etc.,
Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and lighted emergency exit signs.
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for specialized third-party contractors (e.g., HVAC, heavy electrical, commercial plumbing).
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and facility repair and maintenance.
Understand, troubleshoot, and repair machine electrical components, including PLCs, VFDs, motors, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
Understand, troubleshoot, and repair machine mechanical components, including chain and belt drives, bearings, seals and gaskets, and various mechanical components.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and implementation.
Strong computer skills and excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to be proactive and prioritize maintenance requests effectively.
Ability to keep a detailed, daily work log of all tasks performed.
Physical requirements: Ability to push/lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, or crouching.
Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or certified technical training.
