Job Responsibilities: Grain Receiving and Shipping: Operate equipment to safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and railcars carrying grain commodities. Open and close truck and railcar hatches, operate loading spouts, and ensure product is transferred without contamination. Perform visual inspections of incoming grain and report quality concerns (e.g., moisture, foreign material, odors). Grain Drying Operations: Monitor, operate, and adjust grain dryers to achieve optimal drying conditions. Record grain temperatures and moisture readings. Follow protocols for transitioning grain from wet to dry storage.
