JOB SUMMARY
Arc3 is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Cryogenic Distribution Lead Driver & Manager operating out of a Greenville SC location. The Lead Driver/Manager will be responsible for transporting liquid product 2-3 days per week and require a CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and manage all Cryogenic drivers in the Carolinas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all designated Cryogenic drivers in the CarolinasImplement and manage the Arc3 driver safety programManage all vehicle maintenance for the fleet being managedRoute all vehicles for the drivers being managedInterview and hire new drivers as neededProvide coaching and HR resources as neededInteract with the branches, Cryo Techs and Cryo resources in VA in a positive and professional manner Conduct driver ride alongs and trainingFill in when needed on vacant routes Transport, load and unload liquid Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon and CO2.Service customers and present yourself in a customer-focused, professional manner.Once trained, provide routine maintenance on the Cryogenic equipment on the fleet as needed Follow appropriate company and DOT compliance and safety procedures for transporting compressed gases and vehicle operation.Monitor liquid levels of accounts via smartphone app and plan deliveries accordingly.Follow all traffic laws, OSHA and DOT regulations.Maintain vehicle to company and DOT regulations by reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, etc.Maintain the appropriate driver’s license and endorsements. JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Fill Plant Operator is to break down cylinder pallets brought in from branches and sort the cylinders by size, color, date, gas, and damage onto pallets. The Fill Plant Operator will also fill cylinders with compressed gases and prepare shipments for the branches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Read Shortage Sheet or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.Transport cylinders to and from storage or sorting areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles using forklift.Sort cylinders based on date, valve inspection, arc burns, grease, competitor tanks, size, color, gas, dead ring check, and damage to appropriate pallets (retest, maintenance, or sorted gases) by rolling cylinders.Loosen all cylinder caps for filler and release pressure on specified tanks.Unload pallets of empty cylinders from route trucks as they come in using forklift.Load pallets of full cylinders onto appropriate route trucks based on identifying information.Support fellow members of the Gas Plant team and perform other related duties as required.Prepare branch store orders.Using the Branch Order Form, prepare pallets of cylinders for the stores.Drive forklift to designated areas.Load cylinders by rolling or carrying them to the pallets.Ensure that all cylinder caps are tight.Arrange cylinders into interlocking position and install ratchet straps to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.Transport full pallet to staging area using the forklift.Participate in the filling of Carbon Dioxide and cryogenic liquid cylinders.Mark the cylinders with chalk for designated stores.Comply with safety regulations and requirements.Complete and maintain company-required paperwork.Write clearly and legibly on daily documents.Present a professional image.Support efforts to keep facility and grounds in a neat and organized manner.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diplomas or equivalent is required.Forklift license is preferred, but Arc3 will provide forklift training before assignment begins.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand and walk for eight-hour periods.Roll two cylinders weighing up to 55 lbs at a time continuously.Grip cylinder ratchet straps, handles, and caps continuously.Bend at the waist and knees frequently.Use feet to push cylinders into interlocking position and to help move cylinders as they are rolled continuously.Use full body force to tighten ratchet straps frequently.Able to twist cylinder caps continuously.Climb in and out of forklift frequently. JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the CO2 Driver is to timely and safely deliver CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and DutiesPerform counter sales and assist customers in the store when necessary.Perform route sales duties and assist customers at their locations when necessary.Assist with inventory, housekeeping, showroom displays, and demonstrations as required.Provide excellent customer service in a timely manner by answering phone calls, handling customer complaints, providing all necessary paperwork in relation to purchases, retrieving stock, and assisting in loading customer vehicles.Advise customers on equipment and materials needed and procedures to follow to complete tasks they wish to perform. Possess strong welding product knowledge and self-management skills to deliver superior customer service.Safely and efficiently load, deliver and unload hard goods and cylinders containing compressed gases to customers, and retrieve empty cylinders.Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.Strictly comply with all safety rules and DOT and OSHA regulations. Maintain the appropriate drivers’ license and endorsements.Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.Keep the inside and outside of your truck safe and clean.Other duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications
Two or more years’ experience working in the welding industry preferred.High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.Class B CDL with HazMat, airbrakes, and tanker endorsement.Industry and related product knowledge, as well as experience handling compressed gases preferred.Customer service or sales experience preferred.Must be at least 21 years-old.Must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by regulation for truck drivers.Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work independently, self-motivated, and ability to pay attention to detail.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent time-management skills.Excellent driving record.Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures.Ability to perform functions during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities. Frequent bending also required.Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.Confidentiality and Discretion
