    Job Summary

    We are seeking an Urgent Care Physican to join our dedicated team at Pinon Health Center. This role offers an opportunity to provide meaningful medical care to a rural community while exploring the beauty of Northern Arizona.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assess and respond to significant changes in patient health conditions.

    Perform delegated tasks and document pertinent data into the electronic system.

    Treat all patients and families with respect and courtesy.

    Provide emergency care regularly and as needed.

    Identify patient needs and assist in addressing them.

    Meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

    Conduct outpatient clinics and provide observations and recommendations for treatment.

    Refer patients to appropriate medical facilities when necessary.

    Educate patients and families about vaccines and other health-related topics.

    Activate Emergency Medical Response as required.

    Offer clinical oversight to LPNs, CNAs, and Health Technicians.

    Required Qualifications

    Experience: 36 months of Family Practice/General Medicine experience (unless approved by the CSU Credentials Committee).

    Licensure/Certification:

    Must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Family Physicians or ABIM.

    Current, valid, unrestricted physician license in any state, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Territory.

    DEA Certification (Schedules II-V).

    Current certifications in CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS (ATLS certification highly recommended).

    Other:

    Must have no lapse in services exceeding six consecutive months within the last 12 months prior to starting.

    Valid state driver s license.

    No exclusions or sanctions from Medicare/Medicaid programs.

    Must meet medical staff requirements for appointment and privileges at Pinon Health Center.
