Our company is looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual;Immediately reports emergency situations by phone to supervisor or office;Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting;Preparing meals and special diets;Follows assignments and regulations;Provide compassionate companionship to patients;Communicates with the designated supervisor;Document each visit per Agency policy;Performing general housekeeping activities;Wears appropriate clothing and ID badge when at work;Works within the organizations channel of authority;Follows the service plan as written;Other duties as assigned;Use policy manuals as guidelines for service.Requirements:
Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time;Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report;High school diploma preferred;At least 2 years experience in the home care field (agency, hospital, community);Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time;Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Experience with hoyer lift;At least 2 years experience in the homecare field (agency, hospital, community).Proof of vaccination\nCompany DescriptionAR Group Care is an Assisted living facility for seniors and seniors with Dementia in a residential comfort-home setting.
