Education & Experience
● An Associate’s degree (or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school) is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will gladly be considered.

We are seeking a broadly trained educator and scholar dedicated to undergraduate teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. Aquinas College, a member of the NAIA, is seeking a part-time assistant women’s rugby coach who will be responsible for aiding and supporting the Head Women’s Rugby Coach. The ideal candidate will uphold and promote the mission of Aquinas College while assisting in building a competitive and academically successful women’s rugby program rooted in integrity, leadership, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist the Head Women’s Rugby Coach in all aspects of the women’s rugby program, including coaching, recruitment, player development, game preparation, and in-game strategy.
● Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in meeting the required roster numbers by recruiting and retaining student-athletes who align with the values and academic standards of Aquinas College.
● Foster a positive team culture within both the varsity and reserve team that emphasizes personal development, academic achievement, sportsmanship, and service.
● Assist with the coordination of scheduling of practices, games, and team travel in compliance with college and conference guidelines.

The Director of Athletics Advancement provides strategic leadership for athletics-related partnership development, external engagement, and athletics philanthropy initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for cultivating and managing high-value corporate, alumni, family, and community relationships that generate sponsorship revenue, philanthropic support, and long-term institutional engagement opportunities.
Working collaboratively with the Director of Athletics, Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement, and others, the Director oversees athletics engagement initiatives, supervises the Athletics Advancement Coordinator, and leads efforts to reach specific athletics fundraising and college-wide sponsorship and fundraising goals.
Primary Responsibilities
· Develop and execute comprehensive athletics partnerships and engagement strategy
· Supervise the Athletics Advancement Coordinator
· Cultivate and steward high-level corporate partnerships and sponsorship agreements.
· Manage a portfolio of athletics-related donors, prospects, alumni, families, and corporate partners.
· Personally solicit sponsorship and philanthropic commitments.
· Collaborate with Advancement leadership on campaign initiatives and donor pipeline development.
· Develop engagement strategies for alumni, former student-athletes, families, and community supporters, in collaboration with the Director of Alumni & Community Engagement.
· Represent the College at donor functions, athletic events, and community activities.

· Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of experience in advancement, athletics external relations, sponsorship development, fundraising, corporate engagement, or relationship management.

This position is responsible for facilitating and assessing the residential experience focused on student engagement within the strategic plan and mission of the Housing and Residence Life Department. The Residence Life Coordinator will train and supervise student staff; and complete administrative & programmatic duties for a residential community housing 225-400 residents. As a live-in professional, the Residence Life Coordinator is also one of the primary staff members to respond in the event of a campus emergency or crisis incident. The Residence Life Coordinator will actively collaborate with other colleagues to implement programs and services that promote retention, growth and success of students.

Qualifications:
● Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel/Student Affairs Administration, Higher Education Administration, or other related field highly preferred
● A minimum of one year of work experience in Higher Education residence life, either as a student employee or a professional staff member is required.
● Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in student development theory and best practices in student affairs and higher education.
● Must have demonstrated experience working and interacting effectively with diverse populations.
● Must have experience conducting interventions with students with mental health concerns or other personal/academic issues.
● Must be knowledgeable regarding legal standards pertaining to crisis incidents involving students in higher education.
● Must have experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
● Must be able to demonstrate ability to think analytically, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
● Prior experience in adjudication is a plus.
● Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including training and presentation skills.
