    Equipment Quotation Specialist

    AquaPhoenix Scientific is seeking an experienced Equipment Quotation Specialist to generate project quotes and provide pre-and-post sales application support to customers in the commercial water treatment industry. This customer-facing position will require a background in the water treatment industry or similar trade to provide customers seeking sales quotes, technical solutions, and product/hardware assistance. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Grand Prairie, TX. Remote opportunities may exist for the right qualified candidate.

    A strong technical and mechanical background in designing water treatment equipment control systems, combined with expertise in project quoting, enables the effective analysis of design requirements, workflow solutions, job costing, and project timelines. A hands-on approach to both new and existing projects ensures efficiency, accuracy, and long-term success in the field.

    Other key responsibilities include:

    Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s products/services/solutions and how they can be tailored to the customer to meet their business needs.Strong understanding of relevant technology, systems, and industry standards to assess customer requirements, analyze data, and develop cost-effective solutions. Lead quote facilitation process: document, process, distribute and track incoming sales quotes/inquiries matrix.Provide production design and build support to enhance the accuracy and quality of the final deliverable product.Proactively act upon customer/vendor inquiries; communicate and express a high level of urgency and understanding with an ability to provide excellent service to exceed customer expectations.Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work in conjunction with the Technical Solutions and Quote Manger to utilize and assign personnel appropriately to prioritize projects and responsibilities.Take ownership of the quotation and coordination of larger and more complex projects. Interpret customer requirements and offer viable solutions that maximize profitability and add value to the customer.

    AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Equipment Quotation Specialist position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three or more years’ work experience directly related to providing quotes, technical solutions with product/hardware assistance and/or an advanced degree in business management or related field of study.

    Other Key qualifications for this position include:

    Strong knowledge of the Water Treatment industry controls and feed equipment applications to help provide after-sales support in areas of Cooling towers, Boilers, Wastewater, RO, DI, Pump Skids, and other specialty water treatment processesProficiency in using online tools, MS Office applications, Industry specific software and remote dashboard interfaces.Basic understanding of machine-to-machine interface requirements (Modbus, Bacnet, Profibus, IO-Link, etc.).Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with problem solving and decision-making capabilities.Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner with the ability to perform tasks through to completion.

    Other key areas of responsibilities include:

    Pack, prepare, and ship orders in accordance with company standards, shipping regulations and customer specification. Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and promptly including reviewing the integrity of packaged contents prior to shipping.Address and resolve any issues related to quality, contents, delays, or carrier errors.Pro-actively coordinate with carriers and customers to consistently determine best method of shipment – reviewing cost, customer needs, efficiency, and regulatory requirements.Review and code shipping invoices and other shipping documents as necessary.Problem-solve escalated shipping concerns from customer service, logistic partners, sales, or customers. Complete and maintain trade compliance documents and required shipping paperwork. Review, submit and track freight claims.Maintain a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to cross-collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.Overtime may be necessary to ensure shipments are processed and loaded on-time as required.

Advanced certification or degree in a related field is welcomed but not required.

    Additional characteristics and skills include but are not limited to:

This is an hourly, full-time position requiring the ability to fabricate routine to complex panel assemblies from drawings and wiring schematics. Panels are used in the water treatment industry, helping our customers sustain an environmentally clean and stable global water supply.

    Industrial Control Panel Production Fabricator must be able to interpret blueprints and follow work order instructions resulting in accurate assembly of components such as PLC’s, HMI’s, controllers, sensors, pumps, PVC pipe assemblies, etc. PLC assembly and/or wiring experience desired with UL508 Industrial Control Equipment knowledge (24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, motor controls). Involves extensive attention to detail, the importance of quality, and the ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment and PVC bonding products.
