We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale autonomous vehicle testing program across multiple locations in the United States. This role will oversee comprehensive field operational test (FOT) activities involving a substantial fleet of test vehicles equipped with advanced sensor systems for data collection.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of multi-site operations, including team coordination, vehicle fleet management, route planning, safety compliance, and client relationship management. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, and the ability to manage complex logistics across distributed operations.

As part of the testing team, technician will be responsible to execute testing and instrumentation activities as regards Chassis, Active Safety and Durability programs. The role requires someone highly organized, objectively-focused, and with ability to manage their own daily routine.
Responsibilities:
Perform initial parts set-up including digital pictures, micrometer measurements, visual inspections and parts labeling.Execute vehicle maintenance and component retrofits (brakes, suspension, etc.) in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan and specific testing protocols.Maintain and monitor test facility conditions daily to ensure compliance with accelerated corrosion testing standards. This includes climatic chamber, salt water basin, and mud pit facilities.Execute driving cycles on closed fatigue tracks and public roads in accordance with established testing protocols.Install sensors and data acquisition as required for vehicle tests.Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair all defects found during testing.Organize and create labels of tests’ samples using internal SW tools (vehicle and test parts).Transport instrumented test vehicles to the proving ground test facilities (around 120 miles roundtrip).Ensure that test activities are performed in accordance with the test procedures and test books/checklists. Driver Operator
Applus IDIADA is seeking Driver Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate is technically adept and possesses general knowledge of the automotive industry and its products. The driver would be responsible for gathering data to customer specifications across North America, and documenting observations in a clear and detailed manner through our Data Acquisition system.
Responsibilities
Carry out various driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.Drive and operate vehicles across a pre-defined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.Perform predatory activities before shift, including but not limited to inspection of the vehicle before and after shift completion.Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.Drive vehicles in a safe manner and following traffic regulations.Follow instructions provided by project manager.Perform reporting activities daily and when required by the program manager.Maintain all documentation with utmost confidentiality.Support the acquisition of data and implement proper tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies found during data acquisition.(Note: These tasks are not intended to be all-inclusive. You may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the company)

Job Description
As part of the testing team, technician will be responsible to execute testing and instrumentation activities as regards Chassis, Active Safety and Durability programs. The role requires someone highly organized, objectively-focused, and with ability to manage their own daily routine.
Core Responsibilities
The technician should be able to:
● Perform routine vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance
● Troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and basic software-facing systems
● Support hardware and software retrofit activity as needed
● Document issues, work performed, parts used, and vehicle readiness status clearly
● Communicate identified issues, repair status, and support needs to operations and support teams
● Help return vehicles to deployment-ready status as quickly and safely as possible
● Follow established safety procedures and use sound judgment while supporting fleet operations
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
The technician does not need to be a fully developed autonomous vehicle specialist on day one. The minimum expected baseline is:
● Automotive or electromechanical technician foundation
● Experience performing inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting
● Ability to work across mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
● Basic Linux familiarity, including terminal navigation and ability to review logs or error outputs
● Clear documentation habits and attention to detail
● Strong communication skills
● Safe work practices and sound operational judgment
● Travel availability
Preferred Qualifications
The following are valuable, but should not prevent hiring if the minimum baseline is met:
● ASE or OEM technician certifications
● ADAS or sensor calibration experience
● Exposure to LiDAR, radar, cameras, or embedded computer systems
● EV, AV, depot, fleet, or R&D vehicle experience
● Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Jira, Google Suite, or similar systems
● Experience supporting vehicle retrofits, updates, or field issue resolution
