Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate global freight bookings and shipments across ocean, air, FTL/LTL, ground, and intermodal transportation to support on-time delivery.
- Monitor shipment status, communicate updates, resolve delays or service issues, and serve as a key contact for freight providers and logistics partners.
- Prepare, review, and manage freight documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, manifests, and customs-related documents.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to support service levels, rate structures, and logistics performance.
- Audit freight invoices and coordinate with finance to ensure billing accuracy and timely payment.
- Track freight KPIs, identify cost-saving opportunities, support SOP development, and recommend process improvements across global freight operations.
