Part-Time Nurse Practitioner-Crestview Hills, KY Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; from 9 am to 5 pm AppleGate Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is a multi-site, multi-service organization providing opioid use disorder treatment and rehabilitation for patients across the country. Providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment for addiction to prescription medications and other opioids remains the focus of Applegate’s clinics. Combining evidence-based, medication-assisted treatment with counseling and behavioral services, AppleGate offers the most successful option for many patients.Essential Roles and ResponsibilitiesDocuments patient progress/regression according to established policies and procedures during appointments or upon notification of a change in status from the clinical coordinator or treatment center director.Supervising and instructing patients in oral medication self-administration and health education as neededKnowledge of program policies and proceduresKnowledge of various substances of abuse, the disease of addiction, and signs and symptoms of detoxificationCollects and records data such as complete HPI, assessment, and plan for each patient in a comprehensive, accurate, and systematic manner.Counsels patients and helps them understand their limitations and abilitiesShould be well-versed in harm-reduction practices and able to collaborate well with clinical staff.Qualifications | Education | Certifications:Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky.The license must be in good standing with the state.Candidates must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population.Previous MAT and Addiction Medicine experience required, with at least 1 year of experience.Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.Certified through either the ANCC or AANPAppleGate Recovery is a progressive substance abuse treatment organization committed to the highest quality of patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.
