Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision-making concerning instructional goals.Determine students’ performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher-constructed, and teaching bulletin boards, as well as audio-visual aids, hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, and activity-based learning.Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child’s progress.Attends Open House, Back to School Night, Teacher In-Service days, and all weekly staff meetings and weekly teacher curriculum meetingsWhat Apple Montessori Schools can offer you:
