  We are seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operations/ Hybrid Position to join our team! 

  About us: 

  Apple Canyon Gourmet is a 24-year-old business that provides stable and consistent employment.  We are a family-owned business.  We manufacture a variety of food products including salsa, hot sauces, non-alcoholic cocktail mixes, barbeque sauces, dry soup mixes.  In addition, we distribute Rio Grande Roasters coffee and have our own brand, Santa Fe Gourmet Coffee.

  
  

  Overview of position:

  
  

  The position is a combination warehouse, delivery driver and merchandiser.  General duties are to maintain the FIFO (first in-first out) of inventory, picking orders for wholesale and distribution customers, preparing shipments for carrier pick up.

  Additional and important duties are delivery, stocking, merchandising and cleaning of our coffee displays at Albuquerque and Santa Fe Sam’s Club stores. Deliver products to customer locations in a timely mannerLoad and unload vehicleInspect and monitor delivery vehicleMaintain accurate inventory of packages and materialsNormal working schedule as follows:

  
  

  Monday, 5:30 a.m-12:00, Tuesday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Wednesday 5:30 a.m-4:00 p.m., Thursday 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Friday Off, Saturday 5:30-11:30 (until merchandising of stores is complete)

  We have some flexibility in this schedule, depending on circumstances.   Miscellaneous duties as assigned.Maintaining a neat, clean and organized warehouse is critical.  Operating floor scrubberPosition is full-time 38-40 hours per week.  Position range of pay from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, experience dependent. 

  
  

  Job Requirements:

  This position will require the following:

  
  

  Motivated and self-starter, good with people, team player, good math skills, good handwriting.Ability to lift to 60 poundsExperience with pallet jack, forklift certified (a plus)Warehouse experienceClean driving record, must be at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement)Flexibility in hoursAbility to pass a random drug testExperience with Microsoft Office, computer operation in general
