  Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required Location: Chantilly or Springfield, VA Position: Apogee is seeking an Expert-Level Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic Enterprise Engineering team. The Enterprise Engineering team supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integration (TIS) Office. This team provides strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture.   • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of four years with no degree, or two years with a non-STEM degree
  • 3+ years experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures

  Security Clearance: DHS Suitability Required - Willing/Able to pass a TS/SCI w/Poly investigation is required Position Apogee's ideal Operations Research Analyst will work independently and as part of a small dynamic team of operations research analysts, data scientists, and software developers to help Apogee & our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client build analytical systems and conduct analyses that delivers data-driven insights to enable reduction in cost and complexity, increase trust and integrity, and improve operational mission effectiveness and strategies. If you love data, tools, and finding answers for today's and avoiding tomorrow's problems, then you'll love Apogee and this position! Duties Develop analytic approaches, statistical models, and data visualization products to support mission and operational requirements of one or more DHS component agencies
  Applies modeling and simulation methods and provides analysis of results to address immediate Homeland Security challenges
  Prototypes data science and machine learning applications to address critical DHS client needs Required Bachelor of Science in Operations Research, Statistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  Proficiency in Data Science and/or Statistical Analysis
  Experience programming in R, Python, or other scripting language for scientific computing
  Skilled in data visualization and use of one or more business intelligence applications including Tableau
  Knowledge of experimental design and analysis of experiments
  Must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Skills Prior experience applying data-driven methods to support national security challenges
  Prior experience supporting the Homeland Security domain
  Strong proficiency in Tableau or Power BI
  Knowledge and experience with one or more geospatial information systems (GIS)
  Experience with databases, ETL, and data preparation

  Seeking a Project Manager to support an Intelligence Client. The Sponsor requires a Program Manager to support their program responsible for providing mission-critical training. The Sponsor is responsible for providing mission-critical training. This effort focuses on managing the suite of technologies supporting these training courses. The Sponsor requires subject matter expertise managing the hardware, software, networks and systems underpinning the suite's operations, maintenance, development, upgrades, and security. The priorities and tasking will be managed by the GTM with input from the Sponsor. The Program Manager will work closely with Sponsor staff and contractor personnel, as well as external vendors and stakeholders, be involved in the development of technical equipment specifications, and work with external vendors to develop vendor quotations. They will strategically oversee support software and hardware engineering and development efforts to maintain current and deliver new capabilities to enhance program priorities and identify issues or dependencies to Sponsor staff and work to resolve them as prioritized by the Government Task Manager with input from Sponsor's leadership.
