Client: Fortune 500 Title: Administrative Support Location: Boston, MA Duration: 07 Months (Extension Possible) Schedule: 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM EST Pay Rate: $19.81/hr on W2 Responsibilities: Processes incoming daily mail and packages. Opens, sorts, logs and delivers mail to designated mail location within each section. Process outgoing mail using mail machinery to print, fold, stuff, seal and other mailroom machinery as needed. Delivers bulk mail to appropriate designated pick-up /drop-off point. Notifies manager of mechanical problems which impacts timely mail processing. Maintains the mail room in an orderly and tidy fashion. Moves empty and unneeded boxes to the area by the freight elevators daily. Stores two-wheelers, dollies and other moving equipment out of the way of mail room users when not needed. Makes occasional pick-up and delivery of mail and/or packages to and from outside offices (including the State House, Office of the Attorney General and the Secretary of State's Office) within walking distance (up to one mile) of Division headquarters. Answers and routes incoming inquiries as required and assist in-person visitors during the standard hours of operation from 8:45 a.m.to 4:45 p.m. Ensure that all agency departments have continuous adequate supply of copy paper and envelopes and deliver new stock as needed using wheeled handcart or dolly. Performs copying, scanning and other special projects as directed. Performs daily review of assessments and accounts payable Outlook mailboxes; processes incoming email correspondence as directed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of mail and inquiries. Ability to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and in person. Ability to assemble information according to procedures; excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively in oral expression, to deal tactfully with others, to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. Ability to work accurately with names and other pertinent information. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of and ability to use general office equipment. Knowledge of and ability to use PC technology, specifically Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. Ability to lift 50lbs.
