Position Summary:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide direct psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning for clients with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders in a residential and outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessmentsDiagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditionsPrescribe and manage psychotropic medicationsMonitor client progress and modify treatment plans as neededCollaborate with therapists, counselors, nursing staff, and other providers to ensure coordinated careParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsProvide education to clients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EMREnsure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including HIPAA regulations
