  Position Summary:

  We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide direct psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning for clients with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders in a residential and outpatient setting.

  
  Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessmentsDiagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditionsPrescribe and manage psychotropic medicationsMonitor client progress and modify treatment plans as neededCollaborate with therapists, counselors, nursing staff, and other providers to ensure coordinated careParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsProvide education to clients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EMREnsure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including HIPAA regulations
  Requirements:Qualifications:Current and unrestricted Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license with PMHNP certificationMaster’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing programDEA license (or ability to obtain one)Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or dual-diagnosis treatment preferredStrong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skillsCompassionate, professional, and committed to high standards of careWork Environment:Residential and outpatient clinical settingsSupportive multidisciplinary teamFlexible scheduling options may be availableBenefits:Competitive compensation based on experiencePaid time off and holidays (for full-time)Continuing education supportOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives Read Less
