    Position: Landscape Technician (Stormwater)
    Location: Colorado Springs, CO
    Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
    Schedule: Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday-Friday, overtime opportunities)
    Regional Travel: Required, typically 10-15 days per month (lodging and $55 per diem on travel days)

    We're hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to support the maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties.     What you'll be doing:

    Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)
    Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
    Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.
    Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 10-15 days per month is typical (Monday-Friday).

    What we're looking for:

    1-2+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred.
    Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
    Willingness to travel locally and regionally required. 10-15 days per month is typical (Monday-Friday).
    Due to DOT interstate transportation requirements, employees must meet the minimum requirement of 21 years of age.
    Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation required.

    Location: St Louis, MO
    Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
    Schedule: Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week

    What we're looking for:

    2-4 years of construction experience.

    Prior experience with repairing and installing underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus.
    Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)

    Job Title: Erosion Control Foreman (Crew Leader / Driver)
    Schedule: Monday - Friday w/ mandatory weekend as needed

    S.W.I.M.S. (Storm Water Inspection & Maintenance Services, Inc.) is looking for dependable individuals who want to come join our great team.     Leads a small crew by prioritizing projects, assigning tasks, operating equipment, maintaining records, monitoring quality and timelines, ensuring safety, training employees, and providing performance feedback. Performs Storm Water Maintenance and Best Management Practices functions, including equipment operation, material procurement, work orders, and project record-keeping. Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to extreme temperatures and equipment-related hazards such as fumes, oils, gases, and mists. Work is supervised by the customer's designated representative (Superintendent) and the SWIMS Field Supervisor to ensure compliance with instructions and standards.

    Erosion Control Foreman Responsibilities:

    Prioritize projects, assign work tasks to crew members, procure required materials, file workorders and maintain written records of projects (3-Part Form).
    Lead crew and participate in performing a wide variety of tasks such as BMP Installation, BMP Maintenance, cleaning streets, sidewalks, storm drains and related areas on a construction site.
    Instruct employees in proper work methods and standards; monitor crew work quality; ensure adherence to time schedules and safe work practices, provide performance feedback to the crew and Field Supervisors.
    Operate equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks to include but not limited to trencher, blower, street sweeper, hand tools, mowing machines, skip loader & bobcat. Willingness and ability to learn to use this equipment as needed.

    Additional Job Duties:

    Perform related duties as required.
    As a company approved driver, a crew leader will be required to learn and operate a street sweeper when assigned.
    Support other departments as needed.
    Ensure that all provided tools are stowed in assigned lockers and that keys to assigned truck are returned to designated lock box.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the area of assigned work, including BMP installation, BMP maintenance and street sweeping.

    We are hiring a detail-oriented Drinking Water Treatment Process Engineer to support our water projects in the Northeast. This position can be based in any of our Massachusetts or Rhode Island offices and can work a hybrid schedule. The selected candidate will provide design and engineering support for a variety of water supply and treatment projects, including new groundwater and surface water treatment plants, pump/booster stations, and upgrades to existing facilities. Our Process Engineers become involved in every part of the process from initial project conceptualization and planning to facility startups and optimization.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, correspondences, designs, drawings, specifications, permit applications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates on less complex projects or discrete tasks on more complex projects under the direct supervision of senior staff.
    Assist the Project Manager and other senior staff in complying with assigned project schedules and budgets on less complex projects or discrete tasks on more complex projects by actively reporting on project progress and by identifying additional work outside the contractual Scope of Work.
    Work with subconsultants under the direction of the Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager.
    May serve as Lead Designer on less complex projects or discrete tasks on more complex projects to produce a complete and coordinated project by meeting and effectively communicating with the project team.
    Review calculations, design assumptions, and concepts within discipline to assure quality control.
    Provide technical input into proposals on less complex projects, or discrete tasks on more complex projects by developing scope of work, budgets, and schedules by relying on historical information or experience.
    Assist in the preparation of technical presentations as well as participate in client meetings and/or technical presentations.
    Work effectively and efficiently within established hourly budgets and monitor self-performance.
    Develop expertise in pertinent local, state, and federal regulations.
    Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients on technical issues by effectively communicating on a frequent and regular basis as directed by the Project Manager.
    Lead fieldwork such as reviewing existing facility conditions, conducting laboratory/sampling work, evaluating performance of existing infrastructure, and observing construction and startup activities.
    Assist with construction administration by tracking and reviewing submittals, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, reviewing, and compiling daily and weekly construction reports, and tracking construction schedules. Provide updates to a Senior Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
    Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and provide on-the-job training and mentoring for entry-level engineers and interns.
    Demonstrate advanced skill and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other associated computer-based technical software specific to the discipline.
    Develop increasingly effective writing and presentation skills and present data that supports technical decisions and the rationale for making them.

    Demonstrate advanced skill and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other associated computer-based technical software specific to the discipline.
    Develop increasingly effective writing and presentation skills and present data that supports technical decisions and the rationale for making them.

    What We're Looking For

    AA/AS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, estimating, or project management.Previous construction-related experience is preferred.

    Strong estimating and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working directly with clients and presenting information.Strong organization, accountability, and deadline focus.Customer service mindset with attention to detail.
