    JOB SUMMARY

    The AOCUSA Engineering Operations Technology department is responsible for the design, specifications, implementation and commissioning of various production line and supporting process manufacturing systems. In this position you will be responsible for aiding in the design, integration, testing and commissioning of these production supporting industrial networking, automation, control and infrastructure systems. As a Sr. Automation Controls Engineer you will work as or closely with the chief architects, operations technical teams, packaging technical teams, subcontractors, partner and manufacturer teams. You will be responsible for documenting, troubleshooting, updating, upgrading and configuring automation controls systems. You will also be responsible for administering these systems on a day-to-day basis. This critical role is accountable for delivery of services that meet all technical requirements for company operations technology initiatives in a timely fashion. This position requires personal and administrative skills, such as initiative, time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, project assessment, scoping, estimation, time allocation/tracking, documentation, communication, and testing solution deployment.


    Essential Duties

    · Aid in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of complex automation controls systems and solutions within company facilities nationwide

    · Responsible for the development and maintenance of PLC programs

    · Write automations controls functional Specifications / Descriptions of Operation

    · Writes and maintains controls documentation and detailed design documents (i.e., controls architecture diagrams and drawings)

    · Write and execute test plans

    · Translation of complex controls applications and subsystems based on functional specification

    · Understanding, interpreting and following applicable procedures and standards

    · Work closely with subcontractors, partners and manufactures

    · Communicating and working closely with other groups and departments within AOCUSA

    · Identifying and suggesting improvements

    · Technical proficiency with automation and controls industry computer-based software

    · PLC, VFD, Servo automation and controls systems application, programming and troubleshooting (primarily Rockwell, Allen Badley with some Siemens)

    · Troubleshooting of general automated and controlled production line and supporting process manufacturing equipment such as scanners, photo eyes, encoders and other automation and controls equipment


    Required Qualifications

    · B.S. in a technical discipline (EE, EET, or equivalent experience) or 8-12 years of job experience as a Sr. Controls Engineer

    · Proven skills in SCADA, HMI systems, controls design and software engineering

    · Knowledge of Rockwell Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000 and RSLinx Classic

    · Aptitude for understanding the mechanical operation of equipment

    · Ability of situational awareness to quickly assess and take appropriate action

    · Experience in Plant Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or Field Technician

    · Proactive and hands-on work ethic

    · Strong team oriented mentality

    · Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills

    · Self-motivated with proven ability to problem solve

    · Knowledge of controls theories and principals

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Benefits/HR Administrator will be the Benefits expert for AOCUSA. This person will manage and oversee the employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and more. The administrator also provides essential administrative support to the HR department, serving as a primary point of contact for employees and external callers, including candidates and vendors. This role focuses on streamlining daily operations, including recruitment logistics, onboarding, benefits and policy inquiries, and record maintenance to ensure a positive experience for everyone engaging with Benefits/HR.


    Key Responsibilities

    Ticket, Email & Front Desk Management: Triage HR-related Service Desk tickets to the appropriate team member. Manage daily emails, and scan mail and upload it to the Service Desk, routing or resolving inquiries from employees and/or external parties. First point of contact for incoming phone calls and visitors for the HR department.Coordinate the annual open enrollment period by organizing timelines, updating systems, and preparing employee communicationsCollaborate with brokers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to review plan performance, manage claims and resolve billing discrepanciesRecruitment and Onboarding Support: Assist with scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Manage pre-employment screenings (background checks/drug tests), and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately.Employee Records Management: Maintain, update and add to digital employee files. Ensure data integrity and compliance with labor laws.Paylocity (HRIS) System Administration: Troubleshoot employee and manager issues (e.g., time off, benefits, time clocks, system errors), launch and manage company-wide Workflows (e.g., benefit plan and handbook acknowledgements), run reports and be a lead point of contact for all Paylocity assistance.Employee Relations and Support: Ensure employees enroll in their New Hire benefits, operate with confidentiality and discretion as Employee Relations situations occur. Assist in processing offboarding and facilitate the return of all company assets (uniforms, badges, IT equipment, ext.).HR Administration Tasks: Take point on medical callouts, assign 60-day surveys for new hires, employment verifications, facilitate DNR (Do Not Return) requests for temporary labor, provide payroll back-up support for simple tasks (check distribution, timecards, ext.) and various HR projects and initiatives as needed.Badge Coordination: Facilitate Day Passes for Port access for interviews, orientation, vendors, etc. Monthly port badge renewals, replacement badge requests, and the lead contact for the Port of Tampa for external access.Maintain office inventory, ensuring supplies such as printer paper, benefits materials, and incident forms are stocked and readily available. Ensure all areas remain organized and well-stocked. Manage and distribute PPE inventory as required. General office assistance as neededAssist with planning and coordinating company events (e.g., holiday celebrations, birthdays).Prepare and maintain conference rooms for meetings and interviews.Additional duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications

    · High School Diploma or GED required.

    · 3-5+ years of Benefits Experience

    · Prior benefits lead for open enrollment

    · Experience with Paylocity a plus

    · Bilingual preferred, not required

    · Work experience in a similar environment.

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job may occasionally require walks through the industrial plant with exposure to non-controlled temperature and moderate noises.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Industrial Painter on our Maintenance team focuses on the preservation and coating of specialized equipment, specifically metal oil and storage tanks. Will also assist in performing general maintenance projects and duties as needed.


    Essential Duties

Seeks and follows guidance from higher-ranking forklift operators for executing efficiencies in material handling duties within the warehouse and production areas. Utilizes an RF scan gun for basic inventory tracking purposes. Reports any problems with materials or transportation to leadership in the department. Consistently performs daily forklift inspections at the start of the scheduled shift. Performs other related duties as requested.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Safety Coordinator will work with the Compliance team to monitor safety policy and procedures, conduct safety corrections and inspections, train employees on safety procedures, improve work environment safety, monitor security, and coordinate the administrative safety process for the Compliance team.


    Essential Duties

    · Patrol facility for security

    · Monitor all department for safety compliance

    · Monitor all department for facilities deficiencies

    · Write safety citations for employees, managers & departments

    · Log safety citations

    · Review security reports for hours logged & incidents

    · Maintain positive employee relations

    · Respond to an emergency in accordance with policy and procedure

    · Perform training for employees

    · Attend and contribute to weekly meetings with Compliance team to review violations, training, and possible improvements

    Preferred Qualifications

    · High School Diploma or GED

    Work Environment + Physical Requirements

    This job requires frequently walking through the industrial plant with exposure to non-controlled temperatures and moderate noises. Strength and mobility to work outdoors, with or without shelter. Ability to push and pull equipment and reach or work overhead. Stamina to climb heights, stand and walk long hours, work in confined or awkward spaces, stoop, lift, bend, and occasionally carry 20-50 pounds. Must have good speech to communicate hazards and instructions in person, over a telephone or radio. This position is also subject to noise, electrical hazards, dust, and unpleasant odors.

    May occasionally require lifting up to 40 pounds and occasionally carrying 20-50 pounds Must be able to adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, push, pull, and stand for extended periods of time.Must be able to walk continuously and long distances for the entire duration of the shiftAbility to work in varying temperatures, depending on the seasonMust be able to climb stairs with heights up to 48 ft.

    · Resolve immediate staff disputes and coach team performance

    · Adjust staffing on the fly for sudden worker callouts

    · Understands and supports all distinct quality control roles across the entire department

    · When needed, fill in for Quality Control Technician role

    · QC breakdown of nonconforming products and materials

    · Fix immediate technical issues

The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Regular work will be performed near other workers and production machinery.? Must be able to traverse the entire facility & lift up to 25 pounds at times.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The function of the Blending Machine Operator position is to properly operate the pump and metering system to achieve accurate blends per request, as well as the loading and offloading of railcars and trucks. Regular gauging of tanks and obtaining samples are also duties often required to be performed by this position.

    Essential Duties

    · Perform daily gauges on tanks to calculate volumes by API gravities and measurements.

    · Operate multiple pumps, meters, and steam valves to properly blend products in designated tanks.

    · Properly chose tanks for blending based on provided compatibility charts, tank sizes, and tank drain capabilities.

    · Provide preference information for the spotting of railcars according to loading and offloading capabilities.

    · Load and offload railcars to designated tanks.

    · Heat, dump, and kettle blend drummed additives in the additive shed for specific blends as requested by the meter and pump operator in compounding.

    · Connection and disconnection of hoses in various pump rooms in order to achieve blends in proper tanks.

    · Shooting air or pigs through lines in order to properly clear the lines of product and save product loss through clingage.

    · Employees will be cross-trained in multiple departments

    · Additional duties as assigned by management


    Required Qualifications

    Able to work with minimum supervision.Knowledge of the blending process and the lubricants industry.Previous mechanical or blending experience is preferred.Strong communication & people skills, dependable and hard working.

    Ability to stand for 8-12 hours, able to use stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.Unloading barges and ships, as neededMust be comfortable with heightsMust be open to a flexible schedule, including working 12-hour shifts, holidays, and weekendsOperate in a hot, oily environment.
