    SUMMARY: Origlio Beverage is a leading wholesale distributor of fine beer, cider, hard seltzer, and other progressive adult beverages. We are a 4th generation family-owned and operated business, founded in 1933, serving the 9 counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on delivering the taste of excellence.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Deliver products to customer’s place of business in professional manner.Accurately calculate credits, collect proper payment.Unload product and place in designated area in customer’s establishment. Rotate product as according to standards. Provide professional service to customers, resolve complaints within responsibilities and ability. If necessary, contact supervisor, manager, sales representative, or customer service department.Utilize all equipment supplied by the company to service our customers including delivery handhelds.Keep inside cab clean of debris.Properly complete pre and post trip inspections of equipment. Report any safety sensitive situations immediately to supervisor, manager or mechanic.Report any accidents and injuries to supervisor or manager immediately.At times direct the workflow of a delivery helper.Abide by all traffic laws and the use of a seatbelt is required. Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must have a valid CDL A driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and License in good standing.Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees, and co-workers.Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping and stretching.Candidate must possess aptitude to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, including ability to accurately complete required paperwork, present information to customers, and interact with others.Possess the ability to interact positively with customers and the general public and provide superior service.Capacities to add, subtract, multiply and divide properly.Possess skill to apply an understanding to complete direction given by management or company. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, while in a moving vehicle.Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping and stretching.Safely handle all product (including kegs and cases) in a variety of delivery areas (steps, ramps, curbs, etc.) daily.

    PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

    Employee performs routine manual work in assisting a truck driver in loading and unloading a truck and transferring materials from one point to another.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assists Driver by performing any combination of the following tasks:Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck.Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer’s premises and collects payment or obtains receipt for goods.Assist Driver with the proper use of the Keg System at all relevant stops (assuming the truck is outfitted with the system).Assist driver in parking the truck on an as need basis and directed by the driver.( Helper) Required to get out of the truck, visually ascertain how to instruct the driver and verbally (English) as well as using hand motions, assist the parking of the truck.Occasionally work in breakage, assist in non-forklift related warehouse functionsWarehouse/or facility clean up and organizing.Maintain a clean and professional appearance.Follow all safety policies.

    About the job: The primary responsibility will be power unit repairs, welding and fabrication experience preferred, although not mandatory and other normal day to day tasks that are assigned by management.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    All repairsAll other duties as assigned by management


    Job Qualifications:

    High School Diploma, GED, or applicable experienceAbility to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and other related articles.Must be able to complete paperwork accurately and represent the company in a positive, professional manner.Candidate must possess mathematical aptitude to complete business transactions properly.Position requires that weight be lifted or moved regularly Candidate will need to be able to sit, reach with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and twist.Candidate must pass required DOT drug screen and physical.Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in the truck/car field.Needs to be available to work extended shifts up to 10 hours.Will be required to go on occasional road calls.Candidate must have or be willing to get State Inspection license.Selected Mechanic must obtain certifications as directed by the company.Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our in-house truck repair software.Must have some woodworking skills.Candidate must be able to follow a blueprint from truck or trailer manufacturer.
