Overview
Annseal is a leading pavement-maintenance contractor serving the Northeast. We’re looking for hard-working individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and grow with our team. All personal protective equipment (PPE) is supplied, and we reimburse for your OSHA 10-Hour Construction card and ATSSA Flagger certification on day one. No prior crack-sealing experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to travel.
Location: Based at Annseal yard, Binghamton NY — projects across the Northeast USA
Status: Seasonal / Full-time | Non-exempt
Key Responsibilities
Assist crew with set-up and traffic control (signs, cones, flagging)Load, operate, and clean crack-sealing kettles and application wands under supervisionOperate 400-gallon oil-jacketed kettles (Crafco, etc.)Perform routing, crack cleaning, and compressed-air prep to ASTM/MDOT specsHand-route and blow debris from cracks using pneumatic toolsLead small sub-crew, train new hires on safe torch and wand techniquesPerform daily equipment inspections, coordinate repairs with shopMaintain job-site cleanliness and follow safety, DOT, and company policiesComplete daily paperwork (timecards, pre-trip inspections, document quantities and locations) accurately
Travel & Schedule
Company vans depart our Binghamton yard Sunday night or early Monday; return Friday nightCompany-paid lodging (double occupancy) for the week and daily crew transport
Qualifications
18 years+, high-school diploma or GED preferredValid driver’s license with clean record; CDL A/B a plusAbility to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weatherPass pre-employment drug screen and background check
