    Job Description:

    Serves as Medical Director for an Inpatient Mental Health Center.

    Work as a partner with the Administration Team.Must be willing to step in and see patients as needed.Monday to Friday schedule 37.5 hours per week.Leadership experience preferred.At least 3 to 5 years psychiatric experience. Psychiatric Medical Director - 90% Administrative 10% clinical as needed due to vacation or staffing shortage.

    License/Certifications Requirements:

    Unrestricted Illinois Medical License

    Unrestricted CSL and DEA

    BLS certification

    Current and ongoing board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN)

    Qualifications:

    A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine and Board Certified or Board Eligible.One year experience as a pediatric psychiatrist in a mental health clinic, correctional facility, or inpatient psychiatric hospital.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the treatment team.Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.A valid Michigan licenseDEA license to prescribe controlled substances.Must possess a Michigan Controlled Substance License.

    The ideal NNP will provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and technical procedures to a group of normal-to-high risk infants. Manages neonatal caseload with physician consultation and collaboration. Serves as patient and family advocate in identifying healthcare needs and actions for neonatal cases. Coordinates pre- and post-operative care activities for normal-to-high risk infants. Supports neonatal units during crisis situations. Utilizes planning, implementation, and evaluation in formulating neonatal diagnosis and intervention.

    Essential Responsibilities: Interprets antenatal/perinatal health history. Assesses gestational age. Collaborates with attending MD regarding treatment plan of assigned infants.

    Basic Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of experience in neonatal care. Education Master's degree in nursing.
