    Animal Hospital of East Davie is excited to welcome an experienced Pet Groomer to our growing veterinary support team. We are a full-service practice providing comprehensive medical care alongside professional grooming services, and we take pride in serving pets and their families in our community.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated groomer who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative hospital environment. Our team schedules all appointments for grooming, in this role you'll be able to focus on bathing and grooming fully!

    Schedule: This is a part-time position with availability needed Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. You'd typically start work at 7:30 am and leave once your grooms are completed for the day.

    Qualifications
    Professional grooming and bathing experience working with a variety of dog breeds and coat types Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments Strong customer service and communication skills Grooming certification is a plus
    Key Responsibilities
    Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression Evaluate each pet's coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift
    Part-time benefits and compensation :
    Compensation: $10.50 - 12.50 per hour plus 50% commission on grooms Personal pet discount Uniform allowance
    At the Animal Hospital of East Davie, we first opened our doors in January 2004 to offer a high-quality veterinary hospital for local pet owners, focused on great customer service. We embarked on our journey by renovating a cute 60-year-old garage in the Hillsdale area.

    Ten years later, we are still providing personalized medicine to the more than 5,000 clients who rely on us for their pet's care. Our growth has enabled us to offer luxury grooming & boarding services to the community. And, we have more to come!

    Animal Hospital of East Davie is looking for a friendly, motivated Client Service Representative to become the newest member of our crew.

    As the first face our clients see, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience for every pet and pet parent who walks through our doors. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, can juggle multiple priorities with ease, and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.

    What You'll Do:
    Manage the flow of appointments and ensure a smooth, organized client experience. Communicate with clients by phone and in person, scheduling boarding and grooming services, answering questions, and providing exceptional service. Handle pets safely and confidently - helping with check-ins, placing dogs in their kennels, assisting with playtimes, and keeping laundry caught up. Work efficiently at the front desk, processing payments, managing records, and supporting the medical team as needed.
    You'll shine here if you've worked in a veterinary, grooming, or boarding setting and understand the importance of clear, compassionate communication.

    Schedule: This is a Part-Time position, seeking someone to work Tuesday - Thursday plus rotating weekends.

    Compensation :
    Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour, for each hour worked
    Minimum qualifications and skill set:
    2+ years of client service experience Proficiency in the following skills: Strong multitasking abilities Excellent communication and client service skills with a warm, professional demeanor Ability to work independently and stay organized without constant supervision
