Pet Groomer – Animal Bed & Breakfast | Concord/Harrisburg, NC
Job Description Animal Bed & Breakfast is a small business with a family-like culture, seeking a skilled Part-Time Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will provide professional grooming services in our established boarding and daycare facility. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition to full-time if interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning tailored to each dog’s breed and owner preferencesHandle dogs safely and calmly to ensure their comfort and safety during groomingMaintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and grooming areaCommunicate with front desk staff regarding grooming schedules and client instructionsMonitor dogs for skin issues, health concerns, or behavioral concerns and report them to managementProvide a positive grooming experience for both pets and their ownersAssist with basic bathing or prep work when neededFollow facility safety and animal handling procedures at all timesRequirements:
Professional grooming certification requiredPrevious professional pet grooming experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)Ability to groom a variety of breeds according to breed standards or customer requestsExperience handling dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levelsStrong animal handling and safety skillsReliable, punctual, and professionalAbility to lift and handle large dogs safelyGood communication and customer service skillsCompensation & Perks:
