SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
To assist customers with on-site trouble-shooting and repair of existing Schuler equipment or the assembly and startup of new Schuler presses, as well as customer training. Also, establish a solid relationship with customers and provide a point of contact for technical support within the company. Applies mechanical and hydraulic knowledge to test, troubleshoot and repair systems and equipment. Read prints, drawings and schematics and preforms basic calculations. Supports service sales by identifying and presenting various products, parts, and services as defined by group objectives. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair or assemble Schuler products and equipment and various assemblies of parts of various types and sizes. The Inventory Control & Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining an accurate, organized inventory and for executing all duties related to the shipping and receiving of goods, including the internal transportation and storage of materials. This position performs cycle counts, ensures all receipts and shipments are processed accurately, marks and stages product correctly, and works with internal departments, customers, and vendors to ensure that requirements are shipped in a timely manner. The clerk investigates and communicates issues affecting inventory accuracy, performs all transactions necessary for shipping, receiving, and project work, and picks and delivers products as needed.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and unload shipments using a pallet jack, Hi-Lo (forklift), or crane.Verify shipping documents for completeness and verify conformity of received goods with receiving documents and purchase orders (quantity, specification, quality, etc.). The Controls Engineer is a member of a team of electric and controls professionals, responsible for design, integration and testing of Schuler industrial control systems. This role places a heavy emphasis on the development and design of industrial press and automation controls. Projects range from hardware modifications to complete equipment and system upgrades, including new electrical hardware, control PCs and PLCs, HMIs and integrated safety systems. Job Specific Competencies
· Basic understanding of machinery and equipment.
· Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
· Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
· Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software. Prefer Catia experience.
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Education and Professional Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
· Five (5) years of related experience preferred.
