The primary responsibilityoftheManufacturing Integration and Transformation (MIT) teamis designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment across the Andersen Enterprise on medium to large scale projects. Candidates for this position shouldpossessa strong technical background with the desire to be a change agent and have the energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Lead or supportproject teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new equipment and processes.
Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements
Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability and process capability of new products or product extensions.
Provideexpertrecommendationsregardingthe viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes.
Lead/facilitatecross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.

SUMMARY:
This Engineer II position is responsible for providing engineering support to manufacturing and logistics operations at our Andersen Windows location in Locust Grove, GA. Primary focus will be on monitoring, controlling, and improving existing operations processes, and to ensure customer and business needs are met. The ideal candidate for this position is an innovative thinker and has a passion for operational excellence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the commercialization, startup, and ongoing optimization of new manufacturing lines
Provide handson engineering support for manufacturing and adjacent logistics processes.
Develop subject matter expertise in understanding critical process parameters and their impact on process capability, variation, and overall manufacturing performance.
Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans
Optimize the design and flow of materials and material delivery systems to support end-to-end process efficiency
Identify sources of process variation, defects, and logistics inefficiencies using the scientific method, and recommend and drive corrective actions.
Lead structured continuous improvement initiatives using datadriven problem solving and root cause analysis.
Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, training materials, control plans, and standard work.
Plan and execute engineering projects, including development of work plans, timelines, and cost or capital estimates.
Mentor junior engineers and team members while influencing crossfunctional stakeholders to adopt continuous improvement practices
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
3 - 5 years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude
Understands and applies methodologies associated with project planning and experience working with collaborative, cross functional teams
Strong aptitude in problem solving using analytical tools and making process improvements
Communicate effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills
Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools
Ability to effectively apply acquired knowledge and skills to a variety of assignments within a moderate range of technical difficulty
Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships
Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)
Warehouse or Logistics experience a plus

Renewal by Andersen (RbA) has an exciting opportunity to join a winning, competitive team of Design Consultants in our North Carolina market! Our North Carolina market has an upcoming sales class scheduled to begin on August 10th, 2026. As a Design Consultant with RbA, you will be surrounded by a highly energized team who is passionate about enriching the lives of our homeowners!
POSITION PURPOSE:
Design consultants deliver world-class homeowner experience through in home sales consultations lasting about 90 minutes. They conduct 8 to 12 appointments per week, showcasing the value of Renewal by Andersen's exclusive product and installation process. Success in this role requires emotional intelligence, active listening and the ability to recommend and close on solution that meet customer needs. Consultants are trained to offer a wide range of window, patio door and entry door options.
Newly hired Design Consultants begin their employment as non-exempt Design Consultant Trainees in a multi-week training program to learn the Renewal by Andersen sales process. The training includes a combination of classroom learnings, hands-on training, and job shadowing. Design Consultant Trainees transfer to the Design Consultant role upon successful completion and test-out of the training program.

Conduct in-home sales consultations, including leveraging an iPad and augmented reality to design and build window and door replacement solutions for homeowners. Follow established Renewal Sales and measure processes through to completion, while submitting necessary contracts and paperwork for each project
Drive personal vehicle and sit for long periods of time up to 1,800-2,500 miles per month to and from in-home appointments
Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, trainings and branch meetings
Attend technical measurement appointments/install and engaged in the support of the sales project process including but limited to, documentation, follow through, order changes, discounting guidelines, and keeping in contact with homeowner
Use required company-designated software, systems, and technology tools, and comply with all related usage, security, and confidentiality policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong persuasive skills and the ability to overcome objections and close sales
Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Visibly passionate about providing a world-class homeowner experience
Values collaboration, and builds strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Positive mental attitude and driven to exceed goals in a competitive industry
Basic computer skills/iPad skills
Must have valid state motor vehicle operator's license and/or ability to obtain In-Home State License (requirements vary by state)
Must be able to routinely lift/move items weighing up to 53 pounds from ground to table top level. Requires the ability for frequent sitting, walking, reaching waist level, climbing stairs
Meet and maintain company sales metrics and performance expectations
High School Diploma or equivalent required OR minimum 2 years of experience
