    POSITION SUMMARY


    A Paint Technician I role consists of any activity associated with troubleshooting equipment problems safely, quickly and efficiently. The technician will need to understand and operate all paint equipment. This includes new profile introductions, performing AMs & PMs on schedule. Auditing painters and systems. Creating, documenting, and auditing new standards. Understand and measure Paint quality including resistivity and viscosity.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES


    Track PM compliance on wear equipment (spray applicators, pumps, regulators, flowmeters, sanders, color blocks, conveyor chains, and booth filters & etc.).Provide first level troubleshooting assistance to paint line operators during down time events.Support minor PMs activities (spray gun/bell cleanings, pump filter cleanings, sanding media replacement & etc.).Minor maintenance activities (paint gun replacements, spray gun rebuilds & etc.).Able to assess a situation and determine if an issue is machine related or process related and take corrective action.Audit operation of equipment and machine operators.    Monitors spare part inventory for the paint line, places in orders for additional parts to ensure we always have enough critical spares on-siteRebuilds wear equipment for the paint line (pumps, regulators, flowmeters, etc.)Identify and communicate appropriately when electrical/mechanical/technical support is needed.Work closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.Make minor adjustments to equipment as directed. Aid in new or existing profiles setups and programming of equipment.  Aid in special line/trial requests. Support of coatings operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.Actively engage with Maintenance and the Engineering team on set up and equipment improvements for new and existing machines.Provide training, instruction, and guidance to machine operators.Participate and sustain 5S activities.Support respectful workplace.Work in a safe manner and follow safety policies.Periodic quality checks and standard work audits.Participate in kaizen events and sustain improvements made from those events.Participate and support projects that are driven by business initiatives.Attend and participate in appropriate training and development programs.Perform other duties as directed by supervision or management.Assists crew lead and supervisor with the training and development of entry level and senior level operators.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Minimum 2 years’ experience with paint applications.Strong prioritization and multi-tasking capability.Ability to work independently with minimal direction.Strong aptitude in problem solving and process improvement.Developing computer skills – Windows, MS Access, MS ExcelCoachablePositive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both internal and external customers.Equipment maintenance experienceDeveloping leadership skills; influence people and projects.Ability to articulate problems and solutions verbally.Ability to read & comprehend written instructions, process procedures, and product drawings & specifications.Ability and skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    COMPENSATION 

     

    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $19.65/hr - $28.45/hr

    A Paint Technician 2 role consists of any activity associated with troubleshooting equipment problems safely, quickly and efficiently.     PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES


    Able to complete all responsibilities of Tech I position proficiently.Able to assess a situation and determine if an issue is machine related or process related and take corrective action.Provide first level troubleshooting assistance to paint line operators during down time events.Responsible for rebuilding critical worn equipment (spray applicators, regulators, flow meter & etc.).Complete PMs, make minor equipment adjustments, and minor repairs.Advanced knowledge of product, processes, and qualityUse critical thinking to troubleshoot and solve problems related to quality and equipment operation.Work with the supervisors, leads, engineering, and maintenance to resolve complex issues.Participate in and support projects that are driven by business initiatives.Provide training, instruction, and guidance to production associates & Paint Tech I.Audit Painters and operators.Analyze corrective action requests created by Quality Inspectors.Identify and communicate appropriately when electrical/mechanical/technical support is needed.Maintain and develop back-up parts and supplies.Help transition and qualify new materials, processes, and profile applications as well as rack design.Actively participate in root-cause analysis using PDCA thinking for any non-adherence to standards.Identify opportunities for error proofing and implement solutions.Promote a hands on, high involvement approach to problem solving.Work in a safe manner and follow safety policies. Participate and sustain 5S activities.Create job process aids.Periodic quality checks and standard work audits.Participate in kaizen events and sustain improvements made from those events.Attend and participate in appropriate training and development programs.Perform other duties as directed by supervision or managementAssists crew lead and supervisor with the training and development of entry level and senior level operators.

    COMPENSATION  


    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $45,760 - $66,352

    SUMMARY: 

    The Quality Manager oversees the quality control processes to ensure products meet corporate and regulatory standards. They develop and implement quality control systems, monitor production processes, and conduct regular audits to identify and correct deficiencies.  Additionally, they collaborate with other departments to establish quality assurance objectives and train employees on quality control measures. Their role is crucial in maintaining high product standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.  


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop quality vision and strategy for Dubuque, IA facility and manage a team of quality professionals to implement that vision.Develop, execute, and maintain the division's quality strategies and objectives in alignment with the enterprise vision over both the short and the long term.Manage actions directed toward total cost of quality, initial quality, warranty, air/water/structural, and the perfect order specific to the division.Ensure compliance to our quality systems and drive continuous improvement mindset throughout the team.Implement and manage non-conformance and error-proofing techniques, providing best practice knowledge to the manufacturing team.Continuously monitor product and process trends for changes in quality or related issues over the course of time.Build and actively develop talent for the next generation of quality leadership.   

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    BS degree in Engineering or Quality/Technology related field7+ years’ experience in Engineering/Technical Quality ManagementDeep understanding of quality management systems and standards, including supplier quality.Must be able to develop and improve concepts, standards and new applications based on quality principles and theories.Well versed in QA process and methodologies with an ability to adapt according to the needs of the business.Experience with the design, and maintenance of current and future business intelligence applications (i.e., Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI dashboards).Strong aptitude for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.Effective interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment across a cross-functional team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelors degree in technical field7+ years experience in a regulated industry (ISO, IATF, etc.) as a quality leaderDemonstrated experience leading teams driving compliance to Quality Management systemsThorough understanding of FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, DFM (Design For Manufacturing), and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action)Supplier source selection and CAPA supplier support.

    COMPENSATION:
