JOB SUMMARY
Instructors are responsible for teaching students in our training programs in classroom and hands-on lab settings, ensuring that they gain the knowledge and skills that are required for entry-level employment in their chosen field. Instructors are also responsible for sound educational practices and the academic development of each student. Instructors will also manage their classroom environment and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, provide support, tutoring and other assistance as needed. Instructors are to “model" the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Regional/National Program Director, the CDL Program Director is responsible for providing leadership for the CDL Program. The CDL Program Director provides subject matter expertise and actively participates in curriculum development, revision, and implementation. As the subject matter expert in a particular program, this CDL Program Director provides face-to-face product knowledge training to the Admissions or student groups, utilizing materials generated via the centralized curriculum development process. When asked to engage with potential students, this position is responsive to the Admissions or client staff and actively participates in new student orientation. The CDL Program Director is responsible for hiring, assigning, orienting, developing, evaluating, and recognizing instructors within the program(s) of study. The CDL Program Director will convene meetings with faculty regularly. A Maximum of 75% travel required.
This CDL Program Director is also responsible for monitoring and supporting the student population within his/her program of study. The CDL Program Director plays an active role in the student advising process, including advising students during the provisional period, meeting with students who initiate a complaint, advising students who have career-oriented questions, and consulting with students whose engagement and academic progress are in question. The CDL Program Director analyzes student population data, working with faculty and staff to identify students who may be at risk, and contacting students to identify barriers to success and to provide support and information concerning student services.
Finally, the CDL Program Director is responsible for the continuous improvement of the program. Actively engaged in the development and maintenance of the campus effectiveness plan, the CDL Program Director collects data to analyze program performance. Program performance data and feedback from the local advisory board are shared with the Academic team to (centralized) continuously improve the curriculum.

The Career Services Coach is responsible for effectively and strategically providing ongoing career development and employability coaching to active students and alumni through the use of classroom presentations, workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions and professional assessments. The Career Services Coach will work directly with the Director of Career Services, other Career Services staff members, as well as other campus departments to continually assess student progress throughout the entirety of the program.
Additionally, the Career Services Coach will schedule and conduct face to face or virtual mock interviews, contact unplaced graduates weekly, provide resume writing assistance,provide job search guidance to graduates and assist with on campus events such as career fairs and Program Advisory Committee meetings. The Career Services Coach is responsible for timely and accurate documentation in CampusVue/CampusNexus of all active students, graduates and employer communication. In addition, the Career Services Coach will be responsible for tracking all unplaced graduates including the graduate’s employment criteria needs.

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for all driver training functions for the CDL training program at their local campus. The CDL Driver Trainer will have proven longevity in the field, excellent communication skills, and possess physical, intellectual, and leadership ability to perform duties over the road, maneuvering range, and in classroom instruction.
The CDL Driver Trainer works under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education, Regional Director, Program Director, Lead Trainer, or their designee.

Instruct 45-degree alley-docking.
Instruct parallel parking – conventional side and driver side.
Utilize effective delivery skills (e.g., eye contact, voice intonation, and various questioning techniques).
Draw on personal experiences to relate the material presented.
Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours outside, in all elements, climb in and out of trucks several times a day, and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Experience Required:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), the Class level must meet the required level of the position
High School Diploma or GED.
3 years of verifiable CDL A commercial on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
MVR and background check, which includes a drug screening
Ability to pass our road test, as applicable.
Will be required to pass a DOT physical and a DOT drug screen.
Ability to maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT drug tests upon hire and on an ongoing basis, when applicable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The Senior Director, Academics and Product is a highly skilled academic product leader with deep expertise in curriculum strategy, instructional design, and online learning innovation. This role serves as the institutional liaison for designing, building, and scaling high-quality, accelerated programs tailored to adult learners; as well as providing strategic leadership for curriculum and instruction enhancement and management across multiple credential levels—from certificates to bachelor’s degrees, including on-demand and white-labeled offerings.
Bridging academic vision and operational execution, the Senior Director, Academics and Product leads interdisciplinary teams spanning instructional design, instructional technology, QA, and faculty development. They drive curriculum architecture, delivery frameworks, and development schedules while ensuring alignment with accreditor standards and institutional goals. This individual also serves as a key architect of scalable academic solutions—guiding program design in support of employer and B2B partnerships, overseeing vendor ecosystems, and developing stackable credential pathways that drive workforce relevance and learner progression.
An ideal candidate will bring deep domain fluency in instructional design and academic product development, paired with strong leadership and operational capabilities in managing people, processes, partnerships, and platforms at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Academic Leadership
Lead the strategic planning and academic design of accelerated, online programs (certificates, diplomas, associate, bachelor’s degrees, on-demand and white-labeled courseware) aligned with employer and adult learner needs.
Develop and implement curriculum roadmaps and program ladders to support stackable, interdisciplinary learning pathways across multiple brands and institutional partners.
Ensure coherence to both regional and national accreditation guidelines as well as relevant programmatic accreditation standards.
Instructional Design and Technology Oversight
Manage cross-functional teams including instructional designers, technologists, subject matter experts (SMEs), and quality assurance professionals.
Establish frameworks for scalable course development, course refresh, and program redesign.
Ensure implementation of current best practices in instructional technology and design theory including the ethical use of AI for accelerated design and delivery; AI for faculty teaching and instructional methodology; AI for institutional policies and procedures, as well as AI for OER and publisher-agnostic approaches to content curation and implementation.
Program Management & Delivery
Oversee the academic product lifecycle, including program scope and sequence, course development timelines, delivery modalities, and faculty staffing.
Maintain and monitor faculty workload models, instructional consistency, and teaching excellence.
Lead program revisions based on academic performance, student feedback, and market trends.
Vendor & Partnership Management
Lead vendor selection and management for curriculum development, LMS support, and faculty development providers.
Evaluate vendors for cost-effectiveness, innovation, and alignment to student outcomes.
Collaborate with workforce partners and B2B stakeholders to co-design programs that meet industry demand.
Faculty & Professional Development
Develop and implement scalable faculty training and professional development programs.
Champion a culture of teaching innovation, continuous improvement, and data-informed decision-making.
Experience Required
Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
10+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or online program management
Demonstrated leadership in developing online and adult learner-focused programs at scale
Experience with HLC and other regional, national and programmatic accreditors
Strong project management, cross-team leadership, and vendor negotiation skills
Preferred
Doctoral degree (PhD or EdD) in a related academic field
Experience in workforce education and/or B2B program delivery

In this position, the Instructor delivers the approved curriculum to help students achieve their educational and career goals. Instructors will also manage their classrooms and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, provide support, tutoring and other assistance as needed. Instructors are to “model" the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.
TYPICAL WORK HOURS
The start time and end time of the Instructor’s day is determined by the shift the instructor is assigned (classes are typically taught in three shifts – morning, afternoon, and evening). Typical full-time work hours average 30 to 40 hours per work week. Part-time hours are based on need.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Regional/National Program Director, the CDL Program Director is responsible for providing leadership for the CDL Program. The CDL Program Director provides subject matter expertise and actively participates in curriculum development, revision, and implementation. As the subject matter expert in a particular program, this CDL Program Director provides face-to-face product knowledge training to the Admissions or student groups, utilizing materials generated via the centralized curriculum development process. When asked to engage with potential students, this position is responsive to the Admissions or client staff and actively participates in new student orientation. The CDL Program Director is responsible for hiring, assigning, orienting, developing, evaluating, and recognizing instructors within the program(s) of study. The CDL Program Director will convene meetings with faculty regularly. A Maximum of 75% travel required.
This CDL Program Director is also responsible for monitoring and supporting the student population within his/her program of study. The CDL Program Director plays an active role in the student advising process, including advising students during the provisional period, meeting with students who initiate a complaint, advising students who have career-oriented questions, and consulting with students whose engagement and academic progress are in question. The CDL Program Director analyzes student population data, working with faculty and staff to identify students who may be at risk, and contacting students to identify barriers to success and to provide support and information concerning student services.
Finally, the CDL Program Director is responsible for the continuous improvement of the program. Actively engaged in the development and maintenance of the campus effectiveness plan, the CDL Program Director collects data to analyze program performance. Program performance data and feedback from the local advisory board are shared with the Academic team to (centralized) continuously improve the curriculum.
