    Overview As a summer Intern, you will be introduced to the skills necessary for a successful insurance career at AmTrust by working closely with our Small Commercial Product Team. Throughout this internship, you will build a foundational background and robust overview of data analysis techniques and the business focus area across the organization. You will interact with various stakeholders to learn multiple facets of effective product management. Additionally, you will develop technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI while experiencing working in a start-up atmosphere within a mature company. Responsibilities Perform ongoing product management and development including deep dive analyses to assist in the formulation of data and market driven recommendations for product, rule, rate, or underwriting changes. Begin to develop an understanding of marketplace insights, competitive intelligence, and regulatory issues to inform solutions (product, rate/price, appetite). Grow insurance industry knowledge through team-led trainings and independent research. Expand technical skills through hands-on projects and ad hoc requests. Attend team meetings and present to leadership on project learnings at the end of the summer. Listen to and learn from manager and mentors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree candidate with an analytical background entering senior year (Graduating December 2026 or May 2027). Ability to effectively work in a hybrid environment under moderate supervision while juggling multiple priorities at once. Advanced technical skills (Excel and SQL, Power BI experience is a plus but not required). Clear and concise verbal and written communication.     Overview The Accounts Payable IV position oversees daily operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role serves as one of the primary points of contact for AP team members, provides guidance on complex issues, drives process improvements, and supports month-end close activities. The AP IV position collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, finance, operations, and external suppliers to maintain strong internal controls and support efficient financial operations. This role should maintain a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. May be required to work overtime Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Receive, review, and process invoices for goods and services. * Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents; resolve discrepancies. * Facilitate weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, check) and review payment batches for accuracy. * Oversee accurate entry, coding, and matching of invoices and credit memos in the Oracle ERP system. * Help manage the AP Inbox and distribute tasks to team members. * Decision positive pay exceptions. * Void and/or reissue checks. * Support financial teams and internal departments. * Assist with month end closing duties (monthly invoice aging report, monthly accrual, and subledger to ledger reconciliation). * Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process consistency. * Identify inefficiencies in AP processes and recommend or implement improvements. * Support automation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and workflow optimizations. * Keep current with market trends and demands. * Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: * At least 4 years of Accounts Payable experience. * Experience with Oracle Cloud and banking platforms. * Strong Excel proficiency skills. * High attention to detail and organization skills. * Experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. * Leadership skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
