    Job description

    This manufacturing/process engineering opportunity encompasses a wide range of engineering disciplines. In this role you will be responsible for improving and maintaining new and existing high-speed automotive lamp manufacturing equipment and processes. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly solve complex technical problems with a high level of autonomy and creativity.

    General tasks for this position would include:

    Drive continuous improvement projects, using lean and six sigma methodologies. Provide technical support to the automotive lighting manufacturing lines. Writing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, process flow, and process failure modes and effects analysis documents. Training manufacturing personnel as necessary on the use and maintenance of new equipment and processes. Assisting in de-bugging of new equipment and troubleshooting problems of existing equipment. Leading and coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to accomplish team goals. Communicate effectively with both hourly and salaried associates and maintain a strong production floor presence

    RESPONSABILIDADES CLAVE- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Actualización diaria del tipo de cambio de USD en ERP (SAP) Llenado de reportes de Liquidity Planning mensual con información por departamentos. Soporte en cierre de mes, trimestre y anual según lineamientos corporativos. Desarrollar, mantener, ejecutar y supervisar los procedimientos y procesos de trabajo relacionados con el área, incluyendo los controles internos. Reporte Cons Prep (Corporativo HQ) Revisión Reporte de Gastos Mensuales Participar en auditorías financieras y cumplir con los procedimientos y políticas de auditoría interna y externa. Revisión de documentos contables (documentación en ERP, reconciliaciones, facturación electrónica/ERP, etc.) Apoyar en la correcta determinación y presentación de los impuestos federales, así como su pago oportuno. Apoyar en temas contables, de costos, financieros del día a día y cierre de mes. Registro provisiones mensuales Monitoreo de gastos mensuales para realizar la distribución del P&L por centro de costo. Apoyar en el control y resguardar la información legal e histórica de la empresa y a su vez proporcionar la información que sea requerida por las distintas áreas de la empresa. Integración y limpieza de cuentas contables. Elaboración de Reporte de Amarre de ingresos fiscales SAP-SAT Apoyo al área fiscal, análisis de la información. Elaboración Reporte Complementos de Pago Elaboración de la determinación del IVA Apoyar en las tareas del retorno y recuperación de los impuestos a favor a través de la presentación de devoluciones y compensaciones de impuestos (revisar documentación, políticas internas, regulaciones fiscales, etc.) Alta de Precios Netos y Precios de Lista Elaboración y actualización de Formatos de muestras y precios de productos.     As an Engineer for the Auxiliary / Solid State Lighting teams, you will directly impact the production of lamps going out to market. This role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes for automotive lighting products to be delivered to our OEM & retail customers. You will contribute to:

    Develop, implement, and maintain SMT manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Program and optimize SMT equipment (pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, reflow ovens, AOI/AXI). Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects such as solder bridging, tombstoning, misalignment, and insufficient solder. Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and process control plans. Lead process capability studies and implement statistical process control (SPC). Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability (DFM) of new products. Select solder paste, stencils, nozzles, and other materials to optimize yield and reliability. Support new product introductions (NPI) from prototype to full-scale production. Train operators and technicians on SMT best practices and equipment use. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase line efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality. Ensure compliance with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.) and ESD control requirements.
