The Department of Pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine seeks a pediatric hospitalist to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established, academically mature division-home to Virginia's only ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship-while helping shape its next phase of growth within a rapidly expanding children's hospital.
Reporting directly to the Chair of Pediatrics, the Division Chief will lead the clinical, academic, and educational missions of Pediatric Hospital Medicine across CHoR and the broader VCU Health system. This leader will mentor a diverse faculty, collaborate closely with hospital and health system leadership, and steward inpatient pediatric care strategy during a period of increasing volumes, service expansion, and institutional investment.
