    Overview

    AmeriWater is a long-established industry leader in the design, manufacture, installation and supply of water purification systems and services for dialysis, industrial and healthcare applications. We are looking for a Production Technician, Industrial to join our growing team in Dayton, Ohio!

    Position Summary

    Responsible for the complete assembly of water purification systems and components. Assembly operations include mechanical assembly of components using small hand tools, measuring and cutting to length tubing and bulk supplies, and installation of electronic controls.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.Perform mechanical assembly, light fabrication, and electrical wiring to assemble water purification components and systems.Perform quality checks as required.Partner with engineering on troubleshooting and revisions to blueprints, as needed. Follow all safety and ergonomic programs and guidelines Maintain work area cleanliness standards and participate in 5S activities.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

    High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Experience in plumbing, to include copper piping.Demonstrated experience in mechanical and electronic assembly. Soldering experience preferred.

    Skills & Attributes

    Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.Ability to read and follow work instructions.Ability to read interpret engineering drawings and wire schematics.Ability to use measuring tools, small hand tools, and cutters.Strong mechanical aptitude.

    Work Environment

    Regular exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for managing all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within our manufacturing operations. Oversee accounting staff.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs, inventory valuation, and variances.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to functional leaders across the organization.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Manage audits and relationships with external auditors.Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience, with at least three (3) years in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills & Attributes

    Strategic thinker with strong cost accounting and ERP system experience who can partner with operations to improve profitability.Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.Proficiency with ERP systems.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

    Licenses & Certifications

    CPA or CMA, preferred

    Position Summary

    Responsible for leading the safety culture, people development, cleanliness, quality control, and on time delivery of the manufacturing areas. This position takes ownership of the manufacturing area and processes. Works closely with Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehousing to coordinate activities to meet KPI’s. Assists the Director of Operations with annual budgeting, performance goals, and cost reduction projects. Works closely with members of senior leadership.

    Primary Responsibilities

    1. People & Safety

    Promote safety through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.Actively participate and lead Safety improvement activities.Foster a positive and inclusive culture where people feel valued and are included in improvement activities and decisions. Ensure standardized training practices and documentation are implemented throughout the Manufacturing Processes.Write and revise position descriptions.Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    2. Process Management

    Apply Leader Standard Work to ensure the process is running as designed. Develop and implement visual controls for daily communication and monitoring of the processes. Lead cross-functional daily accountability meetings to align activities and progress on action items.Facilitate and coach teams through daily accountability meetings to drive performance and continuous improvement.Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility; develop and maintain 5S program.Review production schedule and assign staffing accordingly to meet requirements for on time delivery. Forecast potential issues, develop mitigation methods, and communicate well in advance.Lead problem solving activities to eliminate recurrence of issues/interruptions.Ensure process documentation is accurate and followed.Conduct capacity planning and Production schedule review to determine required staffing, equipment, and tooling.Assist in developing annual Manufacturing Budget.Assist in long-term planning development.Participate in process design and implementation.Support on going company growth activities.

    3. Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction

    Embrace and support a culture of continuous improvement.Plan and implement annual cost reduction activities.Participate in lean initiatives to optimize processes and eliminate waste.Lead lean events in support of continuous improvement.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills.Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong public speaking and presentation skills.Project Management experience preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in applying lean management system in manufacturing.
