    Job Description
    This position will provide service and education on investment products to internal and external clients. The incumbent will be required to research and resolve customer inquiries as well as research and analyze strategies at the direction of leadership.

    This position is remote (within the U.S.A.) and does not require regular in-office presence.

    What you do:

    Assists in the research and delivery of market and investment information. Responsible for delivery of customer service to ensure stakeholders are in compliance with policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Utilizes strong working knowledge of systems and databases to complete tasks. Educates internal and external clients on platforms and products.     What you do: Manage the closing process on assigned commercial mortgage loans through collaboration and coordination with internal and external business partners which include but are not limited to the loan producers, internal and external legal counsel, mortgage banking firms, and title companies. Perform closing functions in accordance with policies and procedures. Collaborate with in-house counsel to resolve certain legal matters and satisfy legal requirements and Federal Home Loan Bank loan pledging requirements. Collaborate with the production team to ensure all business-related items are completed and documented per requirements in loan commitment, loan documentation and compliant with company policy. Review and approve all required insurance coverages, tax payment status, escrow analysis, and zoning.     Position Description:

    Ameritas Agency and Advisor Distribution is seeking a Legal Intern - Financial Planning with the aptitude and desire to apply legal, accounting, and marketing skills to help position Ameritas as a premier wealth management company. In this role, the intern will gain experience developing educational materials designed to help financial advisors better inform their clients. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and energetic individual eager to apply their intellectual strengths in a non-traditional setting.

    Position Location:

    This is a hybrid role (Lincoln, NE) working partially in-office and partially from home.

    Position Start Date:

    This internship would start as soon as possible.

    What you do : Assist in the preparation of high-level case designs for business, estate, and retirement planning cases Support the creation finan cial planning solutions u s ing advanced strategies , i ncluding trusts and charitable strategies Creat e marketing copy for concepts based upon new tax and l egal developments Su bmit and mon itor content through Ad Review Create quarterly production reports Update existing plans and cases Provide general support to the Advanced Planning team.
    What you bring : Must be a second or third-year law student. Candidates must be e nrolled in a law program, at least half-time as defined by their institution for the entire duration of the internship . Ab ility to commit to a 12 -month internship working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year. F ull-time hours: 30- 40 hours per week P art-time hours: 15-20 hours per week Strong written and verbal communication skills An interest in tax, trusts, estate planning and/or financial planning Possess the ability to work autonomously and, when presented with an unknown, motivated to do one's own research to find the answer or solution Inquisitive in nature , eager to learn and willing to take initiative Capable of w riting accurately about the business Possess strong relationship building skills

    Job Description

    Conduct financial and accounting operations to facilitate daily treasury operations, including the execution of all outgoing wires and EFT. Areas of responsibility include monitoring and analyzing the company daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize short-term borrowing or investments. This person will maintain positive relationships with our internal customers and provide support for their payment needs. Partner with external banks to ensure timely execution of payments and resolution of payment related issues.

    Success in this role will require attention to detail, clear and accurate communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners. This role will offer the opportunity to work on treasury functions which touch all parts of the Ameritas enterprise.

    This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

    What you do: Identify and execute appropriate actions, within tolerable risk, to analyze and monitor the daily cash position of the company. Pool cash from secondary bank accounts when necessary. Regularly move money amongst accounts to ensure obligations are successfully met. Suggest, implement, and document improvements to existing treasury processes and solutions. Ensure accuracy and resolve issues as needed relating to ACH, wire payments, positive pay process, and other movements of money in/out of the company. Produce, analyze, and deliver to treasury related reports to management as required. Prioritize work assignments throughout the day. This role will have regular intraday deadlines which must be met on schedule. Provide support to internal colleagues in accounting/finance and beyond in providing data and answers to inquiries. Adhere to a consistent approach to ensure that controls are in place to maintain the financial integrity of the company. What you bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. 1-3 years of related experience in treasury, accounting, banking, or finance required. Previous treasury specific experience strongly desired. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is desired. Banking industry knowledge or experience is desired.
