    Position Summary

    The Mover / Packout Technician is responsible for packing, moving, photographing, inventorying, cleaning, and organizing customer contents affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages.

    This role includes physical labor, careful handling of personal belongings, and accurate digital inventory tracking using mobile devices or tablets. Work is performed in both customer homes/businesses and warehouse storage environments.

    Success in this role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and professionalism when working in sensitive environments.

We work closely with mitigation and reconstruction teams, insurance carriers, and property managers to provide professional, efficient, and well-documented contents restoration services.


    Position Summary

    The Packout Project Manager / Field Foreman is responsible for managing and executing all residential and commercial packout services from start to finish. This role is hands-on and labor-intensive, requiring active participation in packing, moving, lifting, loading, and unloading customer contents while leading a team of packout technicians in the field.

    This is not a supervisory-only role. The Packout Project Manager / Field Foreman is expected to work in the field daily and lead by example while managing job execution, documentation, and crew performance.


    Key Responsibilities

    Project Execution & Field Leadership

    Manage and execute packout projects from initial loss through packback
    Actively perform packouts, packing, moving, loading, and unloading alongside the crew
    Lead and direct packout technicians on site to ensure productivity and quality
    Meet with customers and adjusters to explain the packout process and set expectations
    Secure job approvals and maintain professional on-site presence

    Contents Handling & Operations

    Oversee inventorying, packing, labeling, and protection of customer contents
    Coordinate transportation, off-site storage, and delivery logistics
    Manage storage facilities and organize contents for efficient pack-back
    Plan and execute pack-backs upon completion of mitigation or reconstruction

    Documentation & Insurance Support

    Ensure proper documentation and photo standards for insurance claims
    Maintain accurate, organized, and complete job files
    Track labor, storage, and job costs accurately
    Prepare and support invoicing to insurance carriers and clients

    Materials, Safety & Standards

    Order, stage, and manage materials and supplies for each job
    Ensure all packout work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
    Enforce safety protocols and proper lifting and handling techniques

    Coordination & Communication

    Communicate regularly with mitigation and reconstruction teams
    Provide clear direction to field crews and resolve job-site issues promptly
    Maintain strong customer service and professionalism on every job
    Qualifications2+ years of experience in packout, contents restoration, or related field leadership role
