Responsibilities Assist with incoming referralsAssist in obtaining authorization from insurance companiesCoordinate internal and external staffing needsAssign clients to the appropriate cliniciansUse cloud-based scheduling softwareMaintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverageCommunicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their scheduleCommunicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changesAssist in the hiring, training, and management of new staffQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDBilingual candidates preferredPrevious experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar position is preferredHighly organized with attention to detailComfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programsAbility to multitask and prioritize projectsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills
