AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Service Technician/Assistant Driver(s) at our location in Manassas Park, VA. This is a key role leading the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible. Owned by Marine Corps veterans, we have a dynamic team of technicians, operations and maintenance staff that hold the highest standard of performance, integrity, and customer service, without compare. This position consists of servicing, cleaning and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed. You are responsible for completing daily routes, while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with the dispatcher. We are driven by purpose, with a vision to grow in a meaningful way that allows us to continue to impact on our community of veterans and their families. We work for that vision every day and we are looking to add this critical role to the team with someone who is ready to perform at a high level on Day 1.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.Vacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers daily for completing service routesObeying and following applicable traffic lawsRepair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicleComplying with truck driving rules and regulationsReporting defects, accidents, and violationsInteracting with customers in a professionalRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalentA valid driver's license and safe clean driving recordStrong knowledge of safety regulations, to be familiar with not just traffic laws but rules regarding how often they are required to rest, maximum miles driven and the like.Physical fitness since Service Technicians and Assistant Divers are required to pass a physical exam every two years.Adherence to a background check.Must have authorization to work in the United States of America. Some of the job sites that we support require U.S. American citizenship and a clean criminal history in order to access their sites.Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are the representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50lbs and drag 185lbs.

AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician at their Summerville, SC location. This is a critical role supporting the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on restroom trailers (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components).Install, uninstall, and troubleshoot temporary water and waste systems, pumps, and related systems.Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including clogs, leaks, pumps, water tanks, and waste systems.Diagnose and repair electrical systems: outlets, breakers, wiring, lighting, batteries, and generators.Service HVAC systems (A/C, heaters, ventilation) to ensure comfort and proper operation.Monitor and maintain freshwater and waste tank levels; perform proper pumping, cleaning, and odor control.Handle general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, welding, flooring, and fixture repairs.Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory in good working order.Deploy on repair/ maintenance calls including emergency repair requests in a timely and professional manner.Ensure units are event-ready, clean, and in excellent working condition before deployment.Requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, RV mechanic, or similar hands-on repair role.Strong knowledge of plumbing systems (water pumps, hoses, fittings, water/waste management).Experience with residential plumbing systems (supply side and drain side)Demonstrated ability to install, uninstall, and troubleshoot water tanks and water systems.Strong Electrical Skills AC/DCExperience with HVAC systems (basic troubleshooting and repair of A/C and heating units).Equipment operation: skid steer, forklift, large trucks (Non CDL).Mechanical aptitude for trailer-related repairs (welding, carpentry, general handyman skills a plus).Valid driver’s licenseAdherence to a background checkMust have authorization to work in the United States of America.
