    Territory Sales Representative

    Established in 2006, AMD Distribution (www.amddistribution.com), an insulation specialty distributor/fabricator and subsidiary of Installed Building Products, has a proud history of supplying high-quality insulation and construction materials to the United States’ finest contractors.

    We are currently seeking a House Accounts Team Member to join us. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated individuals with business development experience who value integrity, team-play, and a win/win, consultative approach.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Ability to analyze market conditions and implement long-term plansDevelop business in the construction industry: fabricated metal building insulation, spray foam, fiberglass, air barriers/waterproofing, etc.Work with Inside Sales to provide clients with timely proposalsLearn and TeachAttend occasional hosting duties at client meetings, customer appreciation events, product shows, and other miscellaneous industry-related events.Up to 60% travelWillingness to have fun at work!Consistently strive to improve consultation abilities: Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, TechnicalConduct themselves professionally and courteously in all manners of communication

    Qualifications:

    College degree desired2-5 years successful experience in a related roleGoal-orientation. Competitive. Discipline, motivation, and driven to achieveTime/calendar management.     Physical Demand:

    This role involves frequent travel and requires regular standing and walking at customer and construction sites. The employee may occasionally need to lift and carry product samples or materials weighing up to 25–30 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, and work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather, noise, and site conditions. The position also involves tasks that require sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to communicate effectively, review plans, and use computers and mobile devices.     Warehouse Associate-Shipping and Receiving Position Job Duties


    Primary Responsibilities:

    Work in a safe way to achieve day-to-day tasks.Provide the Metal Building Insulation production team with proper materials to run daily jobs.Responsible for taking finished product from the MBI laminator and storing the product until shipment.Handle all incoming deliveries.Provide proper paperwork from deliveries to the office. (BOL, Material list, etc)Unload all trucks in a timely manner (within 2 hours of backing into a dock door)Handle all shipments of products via AMD trucks, LTL, or Full semi-truck loads. This includes all spray foam, MBI, residential insulation (batts/blow/poly), mechanical products, etc.Prepare all shipments prior to loads being picked up.Includes palletizing product if needed. Additional help will be provided when available to prepare pallets.Responsible for checking off each item that is being loaded to verify everything was shipped on the order. Responsible for loading all trucks AMD trucks, LTL, or Full Semi-truck loads Additional help will be provided when available.Responsible for putting all products away and organized in the warehouse.Communication with office staff regarding status of shipments and deliveries.Work with office on Metal Building production schedule coordination.Hours are 7 AM – 4:15 PM unless discussed with management.This position needs to be flexible and be willing to help in all areas of the company.

Strong manual dexterity is required for handling equipment and performing detailed tasks. Workers must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.     This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while operating a Class A vehicle; frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb in and out of the truck cab; and regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting using proper equipment or assistance. The position also requires manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination for vehicle operation and inspections, sustained alertness for safe driving, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
