You will also responsible for ensuring that the correct material is being painted the appropriate color and that all exposed sides of the piece are covered. You will also complete visual inspections of the material pre and post-painting.The Industrial Paint-Line Painter role is offered hourly compensation depending on your knowledge, experience level.Qualifications· To perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily· One year minimum experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· Strong background, Follow all principles and practices of Liquid coating in Industrial application· Strong attention to detail. Check the paint thickness with the wet film gauge.· Knowledge to include paint recipe utilization.· Make sure there is enough paint for each color on the daily schedule, if not mix and cut more by adding solvents and checking for correct viscosity.· Startup reciprocators and, turn on the high voltage, set oven temperature for each color/paint type.· Adjust paint pressures, voltages, disc and line speeds, and ram lengths for each die.· Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision· Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques· Ability to lift 50 lbs. Keep work area clean· Execute daily paint schedule as given by Paint Supervisor.· Ability to work around chemicals.· Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.· Ensure that all Profiles are coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer requirements.· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus· Make sure to check Bake Oven and Dry off Oven multiple times throughout the day for fallen parts.· Clean mixers and pumps after every color change and at the end of the shift.· Change booth filters when necessary· When paint waste drums are full, insure caps are reinstalled, tighten and clean outside of drums, prep drums forpick up by labeling and staging on a pallet.· Make sure to put tools back in the tool box and lock it at the end of each shift.· Always notify Supervisor of paint/solvent inventory shortages.· Make sure to perform a weekly PM in the paint room.· Overtime availableProblem-Solving Ability to Include:1. We are currently in search of an experienced Tooling Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Gardena, California. In this position, you will play a hands-on role in the design and development of tooling as well as servicing and care for existing tooling. We prefer that our candidates have earned a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field), significant professional experience in manufacturing and design, as well as substantial mathematics / problem solving abilities. Potential candidates must have significant experience in metal working, adequate manual dexterity, and ability to visualize structural components.
